It is not especially rare. I haven't found it on ebay recently, but videogameimports.com has PSX copies for well under 100 dollars. I have the Saturn version, and X-multiply is fantastic. I don't know of any differences between the versions, except that my Playstation has component, and my Saturn only has s-video to a US tv.

I've said elsewhere: I think that the Saturn version does not allow for you to custom map your buttons, but the PS1 version does. Not entirely sure. I love the PS1 version.Jeffrey wrote:It is not especially rare. I haven't found it on ebay recently, but videogameimports.com has PSX copies for well under 100 dollars. ^^ I have the Saturn version, and can confirm that you can't change the defaults. I mainly use the Saturn 3D controller and the defaults work fine for me. Maybe sometimes the 'speed change' could do with re-mapping in Image Fight, but works fine nonetheless...
Image Fight uses 3 buttons as opposed to 2 for the arcade version IIRC. The extra button launches and fires your 'orbitals' in a 'boomerang' fashion. Gives a nice twist...
The actual game screen size is slightly larger than the displayed screen size. What this means is sometimes you need to use the options to slghtly adjust the play area, which can be mildly annoying. I presume the PS1 version is the same?

The Playstation version is rare, by all means. Just because one import store has one or two copies and it doesn't cost $100+ that doesn't make it common. The Saturn version isn't exactly common either but apparently it had a slightly larger print-run (the same goes for the other Arcade Gears games).Jeffrey wrote:It is not especially rare.
EDIT: typos

Really? It's been awhile, and explains why I found it harder!
