A little offtopic rant, but anyway:

In the 16bit era I was a fan of Squaresoft and Enix. (esspecially the team Quintet) I really liked their RPGs and action adventure games. I also was satisfied with many PS1 games by Square (and yeah I like FF7). But since Squaresoft and Enix fusioned the company were going downhill for me. The releases were becoming more and more soul less. SquareEnix is now just a big publisher like EA. They are way too concerned about their market shares. Does it hurt so bad to, just a little bit, think about your customers, the gamers?
I don't care for any Final Fantasy or whatever game SquareEnix will release in future. Hironobu Sakaguchi, the actual former of Squaresoft, and many other people who worked hard aren't working there anymore. Just some huge business company, like many others. And that's why I hate our global market, companies which are run by a couple of busnissmen who don't value anything than their market share litterally caring shit about all the employees and fans who actually made the company that big.
I do understand that a company have to make money in order to keep running, but you also are responsible for all people working in your company. If they close studios, people will lose their job. People the company were responsible for. Also stay loyal to your fans and customers. And finally learn to respect video games are art and not "purely" made for comercial success. It is way more satisfying to make a good product, something people will admire. And probably all the money of the mega companies will only be used that the already wealthy investors can accumulate their money.
Fuck our $ driven society.

Yeah, I needed that.
