For the infinitesimal group of Macintosh users

Post by Arvandor »

New shooter-esque game from the fine folks at Ambrosia, the people who brought us newer games based off arcade classics (Maelstrom = Asteroids, Apeiron = Centipede, Swoop = Galaga etc), as well as some of their own neat titles. Avara, the Escape Velocities, Harry the Handsome Executive, and others.

Sketchfighter: http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/sketchfighter/

It LOOKS like a free roam shooter from the screenshots, and all the "art" is basically done in doodle on your math paper to stave off boredom style. It looks like it could be pretty cool. Unfortunately, I'm not running OSX on my ancient laptop, so I can't give it a whirl.

Please no flaming the Mac users, I know we're hated, give it a rest already.

I'll have a look - but are these freewares or shareware?

I think it's ~$20 to buy, but as always with Ambrosia, they have a shareware version that often isn't too far off from full-version anyways.
