Does using this motherboard require a specific kick harness? I've heard it does but I never see them for sale so maybe I am to assume it works with a CPS2 kick harness like naomi does? Any help is appreciated, thanks
It's the header marked CN21 on the ST-V board. The connector needed is a JST 11-pin.
PINOUT:
1- GND
2- GND
3- 1P button 4
4- 1P button 5
5- 1P button 6
6 - N/C (no connection)
7 - 2P button 4
8- 2P button 5
9 - 2P button 6
10- N/C
11- GND
We can get these connectors in the next SGO.

You'll need female terminals as well (shown bottom left)
2.54mm pitch versus JST's 2.50...it has worked for me with a 4p, never tried an 11p. [/disclaimer]
