Star Trek The Original Series
Pulled this out and watched 2 more episodes last night. This just looks so darn amazing. I think that was $15 spent quite well for Season 1 on blu-ray.

Season 3's where they started to go off the rails and where most of the Star Trek jokes come from.

Hey, can anyone help me name an old show from the 80s in the vein of Knight Rider and Automan?

I barely remember the details except that it was live action, took place in modern times, and the main character had a literal cape of invisibility.
Two working class dudes, one black one white, just baked a tray of ten cookies together.

An oligarch walks in and grabs nine cookies for himself.

Then he says to the white dude "Watch out for that black dude, he wants a piece of your cookie!"

Could be Night Man though it aired in the late 90's.

No, it was an 80s show and the guy had a cape that he held in front of himself like Dracula and they chroma-keyed him out of the shot to make him look invisible.

So, The Grand Tour is ridiculously brilliant and I'm loving every bit of it.
Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.

Eco friendly cars, and battleship are my favorite moments in the series so far. So many people complain about the Celeb thing, but I find it to not be so annoying since its them telling the BBC where to shove it. I myself am down to the last episode of Twin Peaks, before season 3 starts airing that is.

It ranged from mildly annoying to absolutely hilarious. It's clearly a segment they didn't really seem to like or want to do, but they made it work well enough.
The last episode's one was ridiculously hilarious and I didn't expect it to be so... well...

Powerless:

Basically it's The Office in a supervillain-infested (DC Universe) city, with an R&D department in some minor subsidiary of Wayne Industries trying to develop anti-villain countermeasures to sell and a boss trying to constantly suck up to his cousin Bruce and get promoted out of there. Occasionally funny, but I quickly decided I couldn't stand any of the main characters. Fortunately it's only a 30 minute show, the premise would run itself into the ground in about three episodes if it was an hour (instead of running itself into the ground in six in its current format. )

The Prisoner
Just started with this one, it seems to be my kind of thing.
I suspect that Evil Otto is inspired by that floating white ball.

Killjoys
It isn't all that wonderful, but it has its moments in each episode of showing that it can improve. Maybe Season 2 will be better. I think it tries to be to hip and sleek and kinda fails on that, but when there's action it is decently done. Not the worst sci-fi out there atm, but I don't like it as much as Dark Matter.

Humans

A sci-fi series about a world with androids serving humans and stealing their jobs, but some of them have consciousness and they're on the run from baddies wanting to get bucks for the discovery; all of that alternated by family melodrama about distance, lack of trust and unfaithulness with a generic cast that came out straight from some sit-com (the ones where male members are useless and sex driven, and the female members are smart and leading, all of them with a smackable face) and shallow existential philosophy.

I'm on the second season and it feels slower than the previous one, by not being full of stuff going on but being slightly lame. I really hope the swedish version is miles better than that or I have to seek better sci-fi shows in roder to wash my mounth.

The Leftovers

Just blew through seasons 1 & 2 in about 3 weeks. Not much a feat by today's couch potato standards. Should catch up to current episode soon. Good stuff... too bad it didn't find it's audience, although I can't talk much as I just got started.

Into the badlands.

Not as good as first season, but I kinda like it. Some goofy storylines and the combat scenes seem a bit wirey.

The action scenes were much better in the first season, but it's still an interesting show.

I'm mostly into Silicon Valley at the moment, it's amazing how it keeps getting funnier.

Been watching Columbo, Mannix, Thundarr, and Flintstones. Last Columbo episodes I watched were Last Salute to the Commodore and Fade in to Murder. Last Salute was a very odd episode. Columbo acts out of character. It was also rather dull and even Wilfred Hyde-White and Robert Vaughn couldn't save it (at least they were both in better episodes).
Spoiler
The killer isn't revealed right away like with most Columbo episodes.

Fortunately, the next episode I watched, Fade in to Black is a very nice episode where Columbo goes up against a character based on William Shatner (who of course, plays him). Walter Koenig also appears in the episode. Interesting seeing an early home recording device in the episode and hearing how much it cost back then.

I thought it was dope... probably going to go through it again soon. By chance, I found myself in they company of one of the writers before season 2 started. She dropped a huge spoiler, but luckily I was smashed and it didn't even register. Ready for season 3!

Not so much seen, but about to see.

House of cards s5.

I watched Sense8 s1 6 months ago and just finished s2. Those wachowski bros must be loving gay sex because there is enough gay montage to make you convert. Season 2 fleshes out the characters (literally), brings in more back stories and takes the cluster on a wild ride.

Favourite line - Is she the fucking terminator? You have to see it to understand it.

For those not in the know. Sense8 is about clusters of 8 people born in the same minute who are able to transcend each others thoughts/dreams/actions/abilities between them. Although they learn about it as adults. Each of them gets into strife and uses another of the clusters abilities/skills to get out of said situation. Cool stuff, very international in its cast and has some great ideas. But it is slow in s1. You have to give it time and enjoy the gay montages.

tried it out... didn't stick... at all. and it just got cancelled, which is saying a lot for Netflix. They renew anything.
