Some of these look black on camera too:

Anyway, I have no interest in Mushihime-sama Futari Ver. 1.5, do not own a copy to play and I turn my nose up at it in game centres. It was purely a cloak and dagger money making venture. Therefore I will leave it to someone else that knows what they are talking about to post the first impressions and hopefully they can answer the questions that the hardcore fans want to know as opposed to what shade the boxes are LOL.

Still waiting for Ketsui.

Cheers.
So you own every single 360 game known to mankind except for Futari?

edit: It must be difficult remembering what new games you have when you alphabetize everything like that, and what with every week a new game.

That's my X360 shelf. Not sure what it's supposed to proove but anyways.
None of the non-limited/non-rerelease boxes are any colour other than green.

But anyways, already explained by shadows in postoffice /poor camera. It definitely is poor as it's turned a bright green colour into black

Would any of JAPJACs customers be able to give some impressions , take some photos of the packaging cards , give details of the CD etc?

I was expecting the thing to come in a Death Smiles type box for the LE too but that's not looking to be the case.
Also - good to see they removed the Cave logo from the cover that they have up on thier sites as the official artwork for the boxes, alas Cero logo still fucks it up :\

I should of kept one of each for myself as if they turn out to be slightly different from what people get next week then I suspect they could of been complete review copies.Doh! Thanks to my inside contacts I did get them so early after all (but after people such as Famitsu etc of course). Some lucky few then have the rarest of all releases of this title then. Time will tell.

If you don't mind I would greatly appreciate if you could explain your feelings on this game. Why do you feel that it was a "cloak and dagger money making venture"?

All games should be money making ventures, as I'm sure the developers would like to eat and feed their families. So the cloak and dagger piece would be key to the question.
i think hes means cloak and dagger as in "himself" making money out of selling the games

perhaps one of the lucky people to get this early can post what they get and we can compare the two?

Can any of the lucky people help us out?

Maybe they were just shop display boxes, which is why an opinion can't be offered?

People have this game now:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gGf51rJ ... r_embedded

Shop display boxes in Japan ALWAYS have 'Sample' written on them, in my 7 years experience.

Maybe people just want to play it as opposed to wasting time on the internet talking about it. Fair play.

What the hell is the point of having 5 screens at once, aside from looking neat?

In stock on Nov 26, 2009. We do not charge your credit card before pre-orders are being shipped.

This is what PA states, yet they charged my card and sent no confirmation of it. Weird

fingers crossed that it's a case of them having received the shipment and they've processed the order - they just aren't updating it as to avoid being seen to break street dates?

So the regular edition has Palm on the disc, does this mean the limited edition will have Reco?

if you can download replays, there looks like some interesting layout options in there. he scrolls through pretty quick, but a few of the set-ups look like standard superplay layouts (zoomed in score box, zoomed in chain counter box.) that could actually be really cool.

Oh, I forgot about replays. That would be pretty cool.

Aren't the games themselves essentially the same-- although the LE just gets extra stuff?

the 5 panel view gives you a range of time to look at, pretty cool, also curious about the differences with the FrameDelay 1V Fast, 2V PCB, 3V Slow... maybe something like Raiden Fighters Aces? The Picture Setting option looks a bit useless, they could have added some scanline overlays or something in there instead of color tints

What good does the DLC card that comes with the standard edition give you?

Because this is version 1.5, and the DLC card is for 1.0. Black Label isn't available yet.

I don't know a whole lot about the differences between versions, but I think that the bosses take less time to kill in 1.5, and the difficulty is balanced differently.

wikipedia wrote:1.0
Selectable game modes include Original and Maniac, with unlockable Ultra mode.

1.5
Includes Bug fixes. Item and game system was changed. Unlocked Ultra mode.

1.01
Debuted in 2006 Cave festival. It includes game system in 1.5, but uses barrages from 1.0.
(EOJ's review details some differences as well)

1.01 is the one the card lets you download. IIRC 1.0 Original had an attack that was impossible avoid without bombing; I wonder if that's still the case with 1.01.

I'm assuming 1.01 has the bombs that were added to 1.5.

That's a pretty slick menu system, it's nice to see them paying attention to the options menu. I hate barebones option menus. Are scanlines hiding anywhere in there?

Well, we won't be getting a confirmation unless one of those people that are fortunate enough to actually have it now play it and figure it out for us.... :/ Oh man, I better get my Xbox back. And FAST.
