i was actually looking at getting one of the electric ones because they are relatively cheap and in canada if it doesnt have a combustion engine you dont need a license or insurance to drive it....

but i live downtown(lots of crackheads) and i wouldnt be able to keep it outside....not really interested in lugging the sucker up to the 3rd floor twice a day

Yeah I figure this can hold me over until I get off my butt and take a motorcycle course.

Too bad my city is pretty sprawled, makes scootering a lot more dangerous since pretty much everyone uses a car or SUV to get where they need to be, and they're all out to kill me. Asian cities are so much denser that makes small vehicles more practical than full-size autos, and that leads to safety in numbers and motorists who know we are there. Traffic also moved at a much lower speed from what I remember when I went to China last year. Hopefully we can catch up to Asia soon! The world would be much more fun if everybody had a scooter.

Gotta go change my oil and main jet now...

i should film it sometime....i can lean out my window and see it all....the guy will walk up and get bombarded by crackheads and there is exchanging of money and 'stuff'.....this is right out on queen st(a main street downtown)....theres even a dude in a lexus that will park in the parking lot across from my place and you can watch the crackheads storm him....

id prefer they werent there, but i dont need to worry about my g/f(muay thai instructor 8) ) and i dont play games with junkies  its fun stomping crackheads

You gotta be careful with that and make sure it's an "e-bike" (e-bikes can't go faster than 32km/h. If it's a "motor assisted bicycle (moped)", you need M1, M2(L) or M(L) to ride it, and it needs to be plated and insured. Specifically states mopeds can be electric or less than 50CC.

I came dangerously close to buying this until I found out that it was shockingly incomplete. I mean if you're going be brave enough to release a 19 disc set, why not go the whole hog and release the other 10 or so discs from all the 2 disc editions that were released in the last 8 years. I can't believe they only included three of the Nocturne in the Moonlight Saturn tracks too, when there are at least nine extra tracks.

Still, it's nice to see official versions of the MSX game, Dark Night Prelude and of course the Michiru Yamane arrange disc. Irks aside, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous.

Yeah, the three different versions of the X68000 soundtrack have been omitted too. :(

It's still a pretty good boxset, just from the standpoint of building your perfect CV mix CD.

It's also got the Castlevania Arcade OST(newer), and that Akumajo Densetsu themed pachinko (or whatever) game OST. Pretty snazzy stuff.

The rendition of vampire killer from the newer arcade game is possibly my favorite rearrangement of the song from any game or CD, theres even a little part where it sounds like an old horror movie, you can almost see Bela Lugosi as Dracula in grainy black and white listening to that part.

Should come with a "Nocturne in the Moonlight" Drama CD, Konami ReBirth OST (Gradius/Contra/Dracula Densetsu), Akumajou Dracula RadioChronicles CD and a very cheaply printed black bag with 8-bit belmont slaying some ghouls (in white).

Or are those just p-a preorder items?

lol @ calling a shit GB game Dark Night Prelude.

Okay, well, I'd better give you a pass on that one since Yamane's music is the only good thing about that one.

:?: That's what is called dude. I know it's one of those bastard games that IGA likes to pretend doesn't exist, just so he could go on and create an even more irelevant origin story with Lament of Innocence. But I digress, it's obviously a very average game, but I get some pleasure from it all the same.

Oh, and Yamane didn't have anything to do with the music. That was Karou Okada and Youichi Iwata. Some decent mixes here and there but otherwise no way near as good as Dracula Densetsu II.

I rest my case. :)

DNP is still an okay GB platform outing, just incredibly sparse (and short) compared to Drac Densetsu 2.
I'm a sucker for old school Castlevania though so I take whatever I can get.

I recall seeing the JPN released Gameboy Pocket Lite version (with proper backlit screen) for sale back in early 2000. Interesting to see that ol' Ninty sold them but I never did see it for sale in the USA despite NOA selling the stock non-backlit Gameboy Pocket stateside.
