R-Type's an excellent TG16 pickup - totally outmodes the HuCard version, which is technically the same great port but split across two separate cards. Requires swapping cards and entering passwords three times per 2-ALL. >_< And the supposed "Complete" CD port is no help, it omits the second loop! Jealous.

CD port also has absolutely awful loading times. If there's any reason to ever get a TG16 HuCard as opposed to the PCE version, R-Type is it.

Thanks guys! I've been wanting the TG-16 port of R-Type for awhile now, definitely the best game I have for the system (of course all I've got is Keith Courage, Bonk's Adventure, and these two). I knew the PCE version was worse, but I didn't realize how much worse...yikes!

Air Zonk looks fun, if a bit whacky. I wouldn't have picked it up on it's own, but these two were listed together and the guy accepted my offer. I might 3D print a case insert to hold it inside a regular CD case.

Good call on your blind Air Zonk purchase then. It's a good game, and I kinda want it.

+1 for Air Zonk, or "PC Denjin" as we call it down here in my neck of the woods. ^^

I actually prefer it over it's CD sequel (although that one's not bad either).

Aye, I approached it with zero knowledge about the title, so it exceeded my expectations easily.

As novel as some of its features maybe, I have a feeling that the Switch is going to suffer the same lacklustre consumer response as the Wii-U.

I don't think most gamers want "gimmick" home consoles, and the casual gamer / consumer had five minutes of fun with the Wii (the attraction being the Wiimote) and then ditched it - hence the failure of Wii-U and I'd wager the Switch will lead the same fate because it won't attract the casual enmasse like the Wii did, and the "hardcore" gamers have got PS4 & Xbone.

I got one, however didn't get to make a post until now and can't be bothered with taking a picture of it.

Can't say much other than that Fast rmx is a fun game and that it's true the console has problems picking up the left joycon. Zelda's coming wednesday or thursday. Apparently only the jp release comes with the japanese dub.

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Classic Wolf Team - Flawed, but endearing, and with a killer Sakuraba soundtrack.

I played it a bunch this weekend and I have to agree Air Zonk is a blast, all the powerups and blending/combining with your goofy AI partners is a ton of fun.

I got my other lot of Turbografx games in the mail saturday. Vigilante is fun, but definitely not the "bell of the ball". I played Legendary Axe for a few hours and got addicted to it, fantastic game. Parasol Stars however......man this game is AMAZING! I've never really fully gotten into the bubble bobble games, but something about this one just sucked me in. Quick to figure out, difficult to master. The sprites are awesome, the music is catchy....and the gameplay is excellent. This might be my new favorite TG-16 game, I couldn't put it down.

I also picked up the Wii-U version of Zelda: Breath of the wild friday, but I haven't had a ton of time with it (maybe 5-6 hours). So far I've been really enjoying it, and really appreciate that the hand holding seems to be minimized so far as compared with other 3D Zelda games. Nintendo has really stepped up their game and it feels fresh but nostalgic at the same time. It is very open ended and I love that you can just go and do whatever the hell you want, the sense of exploration is great.

I also managed somehow to track down a spine card for Tryrush Deppy. Yes, I care deeply about these little strips of paper. Hate me.

Now while it's cheap is what I'm trying to do now... there are some cheap games I've procrastinated on so long for that reason. That's becoming a dangerous game these days though.

The arcade game is WAY better.

The circle is complete, now I have all the (good) Elminage games:

Yes... was the only way to get a physical release of the Darius port on PS4. Comes with a butt ton of soundtracks and a bluray with super plays for Darius, Gaiden and G Darius.
