if you check nakano promotion's website, they even apologise for the error.
Ah, yeah, a problem for me as I don't have internet.

pretty sure both the hitboxes in BL are smaller than in the regular release.

i know dodging the last pattern of the 2nd boss is alot easier in BL regardless of what ship you have, maybe theyve changed teh sizes of the bullet hitboxes?

i'm pretty confident they're the same. and again, i'm a bit worried that people might be over-stating the hitbox revision. it is smaller, yes. and black label is the best version (of cave's best game 8) ), but it isn't dramatically smaller, and black label isn't dramatically easier.

i'm still waiting for your 100mill by the way :P

im pretty sure theyre different :P there is something different anyways, the 2nd pattern of BL is alot easier than in the regular version thats for sure. (and its not due to rank or density/speed of the pattern)

youre a million times better than me at this game tho so if anyone knows it should be you.

my score is halting, ive only just picked up ketsui again but im feeling the urge to break 1bil in MFBL so who knows.. it looks like DOJ BL will be the looser overall tho :(

Actually I think it is the density. jpj posted a link somewhere where some BL God (who knows who it was) posted the differences. Pretty sure Boss 2 was one of them.

YesAsia has Ketsui listed for a release date at the end of April, but afaik there's been no official confirmation yet, so we'll have to see if this holds up.

The date is BS, they still have Dodonpachi down as the end of June. Those are both placeholder dates that they made up a few months ago.

I have a gut feeling we will see it in May. I hope I'm right :D

It's only an arrange disc, right? If this were a proper LE, like the Disgaea 3 LE which came with a 2 disc OST, and art book, I'd be all over it.

Pardon the continued off-topic talk:

Apparently there is also a 12-page art booklet. That's from NCSX who also claim the LE cover to be more "aesthetically pleasing."

I won't get the LE. It's just not worth it.

Speaking of Ketsui, I just experienced a weird bug. I don't think it's exclusive to my PCB though. I threw a bomb, and it continually bounced around the screen. I was completely invincible until the level ended. Anyone else get this?

I've seen a video of that before, and it's been mentioned here recently. It's pretty funny.

If you have Ketsui Death Label there's a video of this in the Ask Ikeda section of the game. Number 24 shows it. There was a video on nicovideo as well, stage 2-5, but I can't find it. He times out Doom because he can't damage him.

I think I've seen that video before. I didn't actually expect it to happen to me, though. This is the only glitch I have encountered aside from enemies flickering when there's too many chips on screen, but that sounds like a common fault with all boards. It happened on the second stage but it cleared up after the boss died. I was still able to damage the boss.

That's hardware shortcomings, not a bug.

I'd have any easier time paying for that limited edition over the 89.90 folks are shelling out on a plain THE... that game is a turd.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Famitsu scores are in, apparently,

Shooting Love 8,7,7,7
Dodonpachi Black Label 8,7,6,6

hmmm, i'll wait until i play both but Famitsu hasn't been a good review source in quite some time!

That just goes to show you what a bunch of fuckwits Famitsu is. Shooting Love might be the worst Naomi game that isn't in some horse shit genre.

Haha. Fuck video game magazines. I'm glad I'm the "out of touch" one that doesn't read reviews (at all).

yup, unless something gets amazingly low scores across the board (i mean REAL DISASTER level scores) then as long as i've got some interest in the game i'll just try it for myself.

I think the PS2 DOJ port received a 34, or 35 from Famitsu. But this one isn't even a 30.. something isn't right. Did they mess up? What did the Famitsu review actually say?
