one thing I have noticed is a small stutter every 1 -2 seconds, I am running at 60hz on my laptop so maybe the game was designed to run at 75hz ? cant test at this frequency as laptop doesn't give me the option to change to 75hz

Did you enable vsync in the graphics card menu? vsync is on, that would only stop screen tearing though anyway.
edit: tried turning vsync off as well just to see if that would help ..... it didn't, I still have the stutter every 1-2 seconds, def think its an update problem. it would seem a sync to refresh option is needed! also +1 for saving of the options (resolution etc)

I think it could be micro stutter. I am currently working on my own engine that faces the same problem at times. It feels like it jump cuts 2-3 frames at a time. it can be bad drivers due to crappy opengl implementation. are you trying fullscreen or windowed mode, because i have noticed microstutter is more menacing in windowed modes.Enemy wrote: vsync is on, that would only stop screen tearing though anyway.

full screen, just really does look like when arcade games in mame have a refresh rate of 57hz and you run them in 60hz without the sync to refresh turned on.

I'm having issues with my generic USB pad. The game doesn't recognize the up/down inputs of the D-Pad. This one doesn't have analogue sticks either. Any tips on that? Else I'll just use Joy2Key, heh.

There is no need to do compatibility acrobacy. Whole problem is only with C:\Program Files\Danmaku Unlimited 2\profile subfolder ({or wherever did you install your game}\profile). Okay, so apparently the score increases very radically as the bullets one grazes is increased.
I played the game actively trying to graze bullets and my high score almost doubled, lol.

Bought this on PC today. Runs amazing on my laptop with integrated graphics so far! Can't wait for the Android version, will double dip as soon as it goes up.

just tried this for about half an hour, pretty impressive effort. my only real complaint so far is that the explosion sounds are a bit disappointing -- they're more SQUISH than BOOM.
SQUISH works for Princess Tomato Gaiden: The Shooting, not so much for spaceships.
also i was getting a bit of slowdown running at 1920x1080 with scaling at max, i know that's the worst case scenario but i figured a computer i built to play UE3 games should've been able to handle it.

1. Are there any extends?
2. What is the function of the "laser" which appears before you release the bomb button?
E: Does anyone else feel like the controls could be more precise? Ie even when I browse the menuscreen on the game the selection cursor jumps from easy to hard skipping the normal selection completely. This only happens with my madcatz stick, with keyboard it works fine. Other games do not have this problem with the stick.

DU2 has hit Android! It seems to be a soft launch to iron out bugs before the full release. So please install it and report any issues you may find!
