Yeah, sorry, no plans for that right now and it's a long shot because it's outside of SITER SKAIN's wheelhouse and the ports would likely have to be outsourced. We'd planned to look at that if we went over the $28k stretch goal of the Kickstarter, but it wasn't to be.

. The "CTRL to skip" does not seem to have a controller equivalent
. Sometimes while playing I suddenly get the pause menu. Which is interesting in itself since it's not mapped on the controller :D I can reproduce it by doing a fast left then right while bashing A & B at the same time.
. CTRL key will be mapped to a controller button in the retail build.
. It turns out that the default controller mapping was created for an old style controller and the Pause menu was mapped to pressing the left analog button on an Xbox controller. This mapping will be changed to the Start button for the final build.

Thank you for the feedback, rtw - credit for these improvements goes to YOU! :)

I'd take one if it's/they're still available. :)

PM sent and gone. I'm digging Kamui, plus the translations are spot on.

I know I've bought way too many games lately (Humble Bundle) and still need to get good at the shmups I have, but what the hell, pulling the trigger as soon as I get home from work.

This is the cheapest place to buy online if you are from Europe.

http://www.ricedigital.co.uk/store/the-tale-of-alltynex (£13)

Gamersgate are charging £20(!) while the official store charges £15.50

Bah scratch that last post, seems like the place I ordered the game from was codded by monkeys. No game sent after and hour and a half, despite it saying within 2 mins. Looks like I just wasted my money! :(

EDIT: The guys over a rice got in contact with my, apparently it was something to do with PayPal not sending them the e-mail on their end. They gave me a link to the games in good faith. I take back everything I said about the site. That said for speedy delivery I would recommend not paying by PayPal and use the credit card payment thing on their site instead.

Looks like the Nyu Media website still needs to be updated with sales links, and add the games to the "games -> shooting" area. Purchase links are on the Alltynex website though.

It's M- F-in' KAMUI time! :D

Getting to that now, thanks! :)

Speaking of thanks, huge thanks to everyone here for your support! Not just for ALLTYNEX, but all of our shooting games. We couldn't do this without the Shmup Forum crew.

Definitely enjoying the series and I'm really loving how clean Kamui now looks in this version. I still miss the big super-serious Japanese characters though.

Planning to set aside some time and play through all the games in one sitting tomorrow. Still can't wait for the official game guide too! :D

Quick heads up: at Rice Digital the trilogy is on sale for the weekend, and available for between 10 and 11 USD (or individually for a few bucks apiece); the Exceed games are also discounted (5 or 6 bucks for all three), along with some other stuff.

The number of people on the Greenlight page who have said that they want to play the series and are waiting for it to hit Steam, and thus are probably unaware that it's already available on other outlets, makes me sad.

Hopefully the two doujin bundle deals will garner some Greenlight votes, and there's a recent surge of comments so here's hoping.

@nyumedia - Will the individual games be available for purchase separately?

Hopefully a Steam release will get the series the attention and sales it deserves.

Bump time, ladies and gentlemen.

The first release of the Tale of ALLTYNEX just hit Steam:

http://store.steampowered.com/app/281860/

For those who prefer the DRM-free route (as you should), you can pick it DRM-free straight from www.alltynex.com

Got my Steam key. Decided to play it again for the occasion and I'm starting to remember how much I love how simple the scoring system is.

Congrats on making it on Steam! Hopefully this will garner more attention for the series.

Huh, I thought these were already on Steam. Turns out, I just created links in my Steam library when I picked up the Nyu Media release last year.

This is definitely good news for those who don't have these yet. They are all totally worth the purchase.

Got my key too.
Fps is unstable, mostly happened when reflecting lazers and when there're too many objects. This not happened when I played jp version.
Also steam overlay & printscreen doesn't working.
