I personally would have killed for the entire set.
This. What the actual fuck, Cave?
Again, that's Cave. They have no clue how to do business.

That actually made me laugh. CAVE trying to sell Kinect cameras. To people who play 2D bullet hell games. Hahahahahah.

Looking forward to it.

Wait. They had all those posters there, and they WEREN'T selling copies at their merch desk?
This is beyond business fundamentals, this is experimental in how dementedly antithetical this shit is. How do you fuck this up?

I'm starting to wonder if it's actually incompetence or just pure evil. I'm starting to believe that Cave staff like to kick puppies in their free time.

"Hey guys, how do we add to the overall misery of the world today?"
"You know how we said we were going to release SDOJ in the west?"
"Yeah?"
"Let's not."

I wonder if this was Cave's initiative or Microsoft's... I also wonder about what kind of partnership Cave really has with Microsoft. Selling Kinect cameras at the matsuri event, adding Kinect support for DoDonPachi in Instant Brain, releasing DoDonPachi Maximum exclusively for Windows phone, porting their games exclusively to the 360 and so on. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a "Cave & Microsoft - The SaiDaiUltimate Truth 1.5" DVD :)

I really hope that Cave will be all right. The fact that there wasn't any new announcements made at the event is a bit worrisome to me. I hope that SDOJ sells well!

As long as the crossover includes the customisation options from Ginga Force

That one was Capcom's fault. Correctly programmed PS3 games don't have any additional lag.
Oh, I'm pretty sure that was sytem-wide, but I might have gotten that wrong. (And it's this with a lot of titles apparently, ps1/2 emulated titles too)

On the topic of Cave, kinda makes you wonder..WHY are they trolling us so hard?
(Even console branded SDOJ would have sold..but kinect and mices, no posters? No nothing? If it was really Cave's last matsuri, they should have left with abang!

I am still very much a beginner shmup player but I really enjoy Qute's Ginga Force. I recommend it.

Also the fact the it has a cool FM synth soundtrack by Yousuke Yasui just adds to my enjoyment.

ps. sorry if that was off topic :|

This has been a stage Cave talks with fuzz in the current Bukkake from entry into the Xbox 360 at this stage.

Googtrans created this interesting tidbit:
Yagawa, who worked on such as "Battle Garegga" is also in charge of the program of this work...
Regarding the 1.5 version. Would be interested to know whether they mean that he (YGW) had a major hand in designing 1.5, or just that he was part of the team that worked on it.

Also:

Cave would've sold alot more Kinect devices and accessories had they came bundled with an arcade-perfect port of Ibara+Kuro. That's business 101.

I know that videogames companies (expecially japanese ones) tend to release some interesting games only for iOS and ignore Android (it's like they tell us that Apple's overpriced for nothing products sell more than affortable and much better Android smartphones) but since they bothered to release DoDonPachi Maximum for Windows smartphones as well why not to Android? What were they thinking?

Looking at the pics and vids linked in this thread, if Cave makes it another 5 years, I'll be very surprised. 2 years tops before they finally have to close down I think. This is sad to look at.
