Mushihimesama Futari on iOS Now
Re: Mushihimesama Futari on iOS Now
I'm going to buy it, and I'll probably get a tenner's worth of enjoyment out of it. Still seems a bit cheeky.

The price is definitely unexpected, but if that's what they have to do to stay in business, *shrug* that's up to them.

I guess they're not doing terribly well at the moment... I'm worried that more casual shooting fans will be decidedly nonplussed with this update.
Anyway, Cave have now officially posted the release date on Twitter, so it looks like it's definitely out tomorrow.

Wait, so I have to pay TWICE to unlock each boss rush separately? Well... that's hefty. Or can you unlock it via other means?

THE BULLETS ARE NOW DIAMONDS!
Re: Mushihimesama Futari on iOS Now
No way to unlock it unless you pay. (you can buy both in a "package", it's a -very- little less expensive)
Anyway, you can play the Boss Rush once a day, without paying anything and without any time limit. BUT your progression won't be saved, meaning you'll have to play it right from the beginning every time, and I tell you : the 7 first grades (35 bosses to defeat !) are REALLY boring...
Thank you Cave !

Man, that is REALLY pushing it. I'm usually of the mindset of gladly paying more money than the usual iOS prices when I know the games are worth it (The Pinball Arcade for instance - each table is like 2-4€ which I consider incredibly cheap compared to the enjoyment I get), I bought DDP:R HD for the pretty graphics, I even was enough of a sucker to spend a lot on that dumb Deathsmiles DLC, but, wow...
I mean, all in all it's still less than your average used DS game, and Futurai looks gorgeous on my iPad, even blurry as it is, but they really wanna make sure that nobody aside absolute hardcore fans or idiots like me buy the game. Really it's like this is their first app store title.
Have the older games ever go down in price or did they only have these introductory sales?

Concerning older Cave games on iOS, I'm pretty sure their prices have never gone down, but have increased !
And indeed, for most of them (all ?), introductory prices had been lessen, which is obviously not the case here. Which is logical after all : only pure fans buy the game the very first hours after release, whatever the price, 'cause they're PURE FANS !
