(1.51 isn't stellar though, so I wouldn't worry too much about that one :P)
Hi there

It will be Black Label on day of release, not Black Label Arrange.

Thank you
Well that sucks... Will ketsuipachi (black label arrange) be available at all...

So just to clarify, we're not getting Black Label Arrange (Ketsuipachi/the Ketsui-like) as DLC at all?

Amazing thanks Rising Star Games you are awesome.

How about we convert this thread to the main PAL Daifukkatsu thread?

Question to Torisu any DLC modes planned?

And another one will we get the OST with the game or any other extra material?

It's a shame some of it is DLC (don't and probably will never have my 360 hooked up to the internet).

But still, cave shooter = day one.

This is true, however we all owe Spadgy a little gratitude for his hand in this, and of course to RSG for being so trusting.

You all keep saying "I want BL arrange" and that's a fair ask as it's great, but regular Black Label is equally as good - a fantastic game. From the way Torisu is making it sound, it seems lucky Europeans will be getting BL bundled with 1.5, what a great deal!

Hopefully there will be a DLC option for Ketsupachi too.

As already stated - BL and 1.51 will be DLC. The OST is included on CD.

I'll probably buy BL from Live before even receiving the game. Someone let me know when preorders are up on Shopto! :)

Well, never say never, but I have no info on the availability of BL Arrange at the moment.

Well it makes sense to have BL as DLC from day one, since 1.5(arcade)+ArrA+ArrB was the original japanese release, which has BL as DLC as well. The BL Arrange DLC was only available for people who bought the disc release of BL and never for owners of the original release.
(correct me if I'm wrong about any of the above)

So it would take some hacking from Cave's side to make BL Arrange available to a "copy" of the original DFK release, but since they aren't releasing the Disc version of BL, it would make sense to do that.

The least hassle would be putting BL Arrange data on the retail disc of 1.5 and when the BL DLC is bought, the Arrange mode is unlocked and added to the BL menu. In my mind, the retail BL disc came to be as the Ketsui Style was an afterthought when 1.5 was already finalized. It would be a damn shame for the PAL crowd without import consoles to miss out on the best arrange mode ever.

This is great news. However, as an Australian, will I have access to the BL DLC on the marketplace? I'm not sure how the marketplace works; Is all DLC for a PAL region released for all PAL countries? I'm asking this because I've noticed the Australian marketplace lacks certain things that other PAL regions have access to (I think that may just be censored content though).

Also, KOF13! Thanks a lot!

I already got an asia region xbox to play DFK BL and now I'll have to buy this for my Europe region xbox!

Also ketsuipachi is awesome, just adding that for all the people who don't own it.

Deathsmiles got all of its little display picture junk when we got it for PAL, and I'm an Aussie myself, so we *should* get them.

BL Arrange (a.k.a. - Ketsupachi/Daifukketsui) isn't Downloadable Content. It's a mode included on the disc of the standalone DDPDFKBL release. It's completely unavailable to people who only own the DDPDFK1.5 disc.

Noone has asked the single most important question.

Will BL dlc have the BL soundtrack? If I was in the market for this (ie: in europe) that would be the single deciding factor.

I'm not surprised that is the cover art they chose. They were never going to use 1.5's and using black label's was possible but would have required some adaptation.

Their site says that,

Revered Black Label mode and enhanced Version 1.51 will be available as paid for DLC

This is great news for Eurofriends. Still a damn shame that Ketsupachi's fate is currently unknown, though.

So who's going to publish this in the US? Maybe another Games-On-Demand release? If not, maybe a region-free disc? One can dream.
Why is it called the Vic Viper/Warp Rattler? Because the Options trail behind it in a serpent-like fashion, and the iconic front fins are designed to invoke the image of a snake's fangs.

You mean in-game? The Japanese version of DFK1.5 actually includes the BL soundtrack on the game disc, and of course the DFKBL DLC uses it by default. Purchase of the DLC also unlocks the DFKBL soundtrack for use in any mode on the disc, and lets you choose between them on a song-by-song basis. So if you wanted to play Arrange A mode with the stage themes from 1.5 and the boss themes and stage clear theme from BL, you could (but only after you purchased the Black Label DLC).

the game was just announced ppl, no doubt we'll get ketsupachi later down the road, certainly it's something that cave and rsg will want to do but you gotta leave something out of the picture to keep the fans talking and the hype train rolling :P

wouldn't mind paying 1200 pts for 1.51 as long as it comes with achievements
