Axelay has many good osts, i used to play it again after a while.And I remember i used to play and play again Raystorm for the music and the game, even when i already beaten the game.

thx for keeping this thread alive guys!I Very nice selections still coming. I was never a fan of the Game Axelay, however i really enjoy its music, especially a particular Midi remake of Stage 1

^Yep - two of those concerts on YT are Cinetique Rave and Güten Talk from the Earth. I especially love the first album's version of Kimera II from G-Darius, absolute synth heaven! The reggae-esque version of Ceramic Heart with Tamayo Kawamoto on vocals is lovely too.

Zuntata et al have a lot of favourites of mine. Hisayoshi Ogura's bizarre yet frequently toe-tapping Darius Gaiden and industrial/epic G-Darius ("whirrrr") soundtracks come to mind, as well as Yasuhisa Watanabe's Gun Frontier, Metal Black and Border Down OSTs.

1:yes,its thunder force 3,exept with 2 bosses changed and 2 levels added
2: its thunder force,NOT thunderforce
3:the snes version had really weird music compared to the genesis one.

There are also a few scattered clips of other ZTT concerts on there. This performance of Captain Neo from the original Darius's OST rocks. I know there's at least one more full-length Zuntata concert album (Zuntata Night) - haven't gotten around to listening to it yet.

Not quite on-topic, but Sega Sound Team Band's After Burner Medley is another great live performance. After Burner II has a lot of good tunes, it was nice to see its music referenced in Bayonetta along with Space Harrier's and OutRun's.

Sounds very good. But the problem is i didn't play that game.

Ah, thanks! Fixed it now. I had to type the full address in manually, and must have cocked up a letter. I love the tune at 10:00, and the one before it is hilarious.

I only know the chap you're referring to by his aliases "OH!GI" and "GEEO", but he also did the soundtracks to R-Type II and X-Multiply, IIRC. X-Multiply's another one of my faves, but there doesn't seem to be much of its music on YT. If my computer wasn't humped I'd upload the whole Irem G.S.M. CD.
