dang! I was about to mention Shien the Blade Chaser. Well, it's good that I'm not too oddball to know & like this game then 
I never actually owned this game, but so I can't comment on how it plays on a real SNES, but I would guess that it plays better emulated, since you can use a mouse or joystick. Playing with a joystick feels almost like you are controlling a kunai!
