I don't think many people (if any) are against the idea of a port, but past experience has taught many of us that there tend to be many roadblocks between us and the games we play - I'd say taking into consideration what might prevent this from happening is preferable to getting super-hyped over vague hints in a certain direction and likely being disappointed later, but that's just my take.
The only people against the port are the elitist snobs who want to protect their investment. As always, these people are best ignored and laughed at.

Because the 360 demo would be more representative of what she would be buying. Like it or loath it, the 360 version isn't the same as the other versions.
