have your ports been forwarded properly? can you play the game/rom offline? i'm not very tech savvy, best bet is to check on the trouble-shooting section of the ggpo forums

game works fine offline. Only tried SSF2T but that works, and it was that game I was able to watch online once. I did forward the ports in my router. Will look through their forum for answers

guess its a real shit day to try out GGPO. In the chat they say that the servers are overloaded with chinese people in the KoF 98 rooms

i can believe that actually. even when playing against someone with a low ping (like sub 70ms) it can take 5 or 6 attempts to connect on some days. it really is worth it once you get it going though, so try to prevail

oh snap, after playing street fighter iv for so long I had totally forgotten how much damage you can do in SS2T 2 solid combos from Rog and its all over. j.rh -> c.jab, c.jab xx rush punch is almost 50% damage lol

guess this was before the time when damage scaling was introduced Keeps you on your toes and makes you block more

for real. the worst is dictator - if he lands a cross-up MK on you he can do a 5 hit combo that dizzies, and then another combo to finish you off such combos for other characters do exist, but aren't really practical, but you might enjoy this video:

I think the combo I posted for Rog dizzies too, light dizzy with stars. This game is serious bussines lol Does GGPO take into account whos new and what not? Ive seen something like <nick>@beginner vs <nick>

Im giving up on this till they figure out how to deal with the chinese+kof problem thats slowing the connections WAY down.

I had 2 games last night in ST, but in the 3rd game it froze with a high pitch sound. Since then it was impossible to connect to anybody. I dont have the patience no more to screw around with stuff like this.
