Select anyone in the top 100 of a leaderboard and it'll ask if you want to download the replay or view the profile.

The scores with replays have a little paperclip looking icon.
That doesn't work. I pressed A on Kingoro68k and it brought up his profile.
I have no idea then. It gives me a dialog asking which one I want to do.

I assume you have a hard drive and/or mem card attached?

Yes, I have a HDD attached.. I bought it while trying the demo though, does that mess things up?

possibly but if its allowing you to save your games and scores i dont see why it would cause a problem

remember it doesnt automatically save replays, the player has the choice not to save so try to dl from a few hi scores (mainly in the top 10 overall)

if its not this i aint got a clue

Hm, it works now.

God, I fail at this game just as much as I ever did. Though I did manage to get an A on Chapter 1, I gave up when I lost to the third boss.

Maybe it's time to go back to Raiden Fighters Aces for now. (That is, if it doesn't continuously freeze on me like normal.)

Wow. I got bit by this tonight. The best game I've had so far too :( 4,950,000 at the end of level 2, and no missing up until then. All of a the accessing-network screen shows up :(

This game just won't let me break 5 mil. I finally get the skills to do it, and the game says no.

But damn does it look nice and sound good. And it's damned shooter-crack.

Did you hope they'd change it somehow so it would become fun playing?

What do you mean? The game or the excluded horizontal mode?

Which part of ch4 has the wind laser targeting issues? I think I'm getting it but I'm not sure if I'm just really that rusty or not.

ninja delayed edit:

confirmed; I'm not that shitty, it's the bug/wtf ever. Grr. All the other weird changes I could deal with, but this is making me want to put it aside and not worry about trying to get a new HS. At least until I get motivated enough to break out the DC again.

Are you talking about Tate? Because that is indeed there. I used it last time I played.

It's faintly ridiculous to have expected them to have included that when they omitted the more useful stuff.

U can't play it side-ways, like Gradius. That's the way I like playing it. I 've always played it like that. I play most shooters like that if it'll give me the option. Especially now that I have a 46" screen. That would look awesome!!

Whats wrong with playing shooters in a Horizontal mode. If you have the option, why not? It's my preference. If it allows me to have a bigger play space, the more the better. :P

You probably also watch your movies in tate, don't you? I heard it looks awesome
Seriously, why should they waste time (=money) on an option that is probably used by a handful of people worldwide? Hell, what if you're the only one?!

This reminds me of the early 90's sci-fi film Total Recall, where in order to make everything look futuristic, all the monitors in the film are tated. Awesome. I think I'd enjoy that future

Uhhh if you would have read....It's included in both the Dreamcast and Gamecube versions. You act like its against your religion to play it like that, guess you only enjoy whats normal. Sad ....So why would most all shooters include this mode. I don't get what you have against this mode. Maybe your not good at it. I've been playing shooters for a long time and like to enjoy them in any which way possible, not the norm.

Religion? Yeah, whatever
You're saying that most vertical shmups include this mode. You sure, which ones? I have nothing against "this mode" it's just that it's pretty obvious why they didn't really care to include such an experimental little extra that barely anybody uses anyway.

Until you watch The Good, The Bad And The Ugly in tate, you'll never know how much you were missing out on.
