Had only one decent session up to this point in time (I can thank DOTA and UNI for this) and this was the score I generated,

Skyrandia - Bornnam - 1-6 - 1,087,010

Image

Hopefully I will have more time to play before the end of the playing week as this game is a truly great experience with every play!!!!!

I would have a new score but I decided I want to save all my bombs for 1-6 and possibly 2nd loop so now I'm stupidly dying on the 1-5 boss instead and restarting. :?
LGB wrote:Due in part to his kickass F shot and the fact that his H shot is the most balanced of anyone. I'll try something else later though... Even so, I always use Chitta in Shippu because apparently Raizing though Miyamoto's W shot is a good F shot.
This is the only game I prefer Chitta over Miyamoto though. And actually I think Miyamoto is technically better here too, but I prefer Chitta anyway. It only took me 5 minutes with this game to decide that Chitta's homing flameshot is <3. Also Chitta has a max cute rating (it's true!) and the silly pregame dance is a great stress reliever for those numerous restarts (um, even though I just fast forward through it anyway).

In most games with a real scoring system, you have general trends such as faster character = better and homing shot = bad, but for something like this game which is mostly survival, really you can just use whoever you feel like or are most comfortable with. (Hence you can use Bornnam even though he's 40% slower than Miyamoto.)

Yeah, the funny part about this game is that if you look at other people's scores, you might start wondering if you are doing something wrong if you have a much lower score in 1-4 or early 1-5. But like people said, that stage is a points bonanza with the Raizing style boss rush and easy scoring tricks like milking cages.

The ball is in your court, kozo. I don't have any more time to play this unfortunately.

Had a good run going up to stage 5, then I had to fuck it up by trapping myself :(

Managed to somewhat salvage this run until the Ninja fucking savaged me.

Image

mikwuyma - Bornnam - 1,220,400 - Stage 6

I will get into the second loop tomorrow :P

Enhasa: Maybe this is the time to tell you that your bomb count resets in the second loop, meaning you get 3 bombs no matter how many you had in the first loop.

Also, the replay I linked you to bombs twice on the fifth boss :P

http://mahochan.is.land.to/m.html The Bornnam replay is incredibly close to the world record (I forgot what the WR was, but I know it was also 3.8 million).

This seems to be a highly common experience for players of this game. "Savaged by ninja" is like the collective unconsciousness of Mahou.

Ha, actually you told me this earlier this week on IRC, I just forgot. Actually I am going to bomb the crap out of 1-6 anyway starting with the ninja, I doubt I would have any left anyway.

It's weird, I really like the team aspect of the STGT (and it was like 95% of my motivation lol), but it's actually a friendlier atmosphere talking tech etc on the forum. Compare that to all the withholding of OFS million point bonus and such during STGT.

Or actually, it is like the people vs Macaw. I vow to clear first loop so that Macaw does not win and mock us all. :P

Well - I've not managed to get much time in , just one session actually, so just 150,050 for now, but hopefully I'll get another in tonight...

Rest assured I'll be putting more time in in future weeks so I'm not wasting anybody's time - I just missed the start by about four damn days...

I bet I could totally win STGT if the 50 people better than me all didn't try hard, lol.

I was doing really well on giga face until he started going berserk though

Yes we know, you would rather watch animated porn instead.

FYI, time is up. This mean Enhasa wins, unless if Macaw's score is better (knowing how awesome macaw is, I'm sure it is).

But I still won. Because you said right now, and it's two hours after you said times up.

Bleh. Where is Macaw anyway?

I didn't get to play as much as I would have liked. I actually figured out some of the ninja's patterns near the end, but my score was lower than my last posted one.

Ok, gah, I was gonna do this over this weekend, but ended up just not having time.

Though, I tried the game out a bit, and boy am I bad at it. I wouldnt have been beating anyone in this, lets just put it that way. Im very bad at Raizing games, as a rule. Their general style tends to not agree with me.

So I dont have a score to put up.... too late now...... but I woulda barely had one regardless.
