Recommended Korean movies?

I've seen a bunch of great films on SBS but because of my lack of understanding of Asian languages and missing bits and pieces including the title I can never remember the names. I can give descriptions but I'm pretty sure most of the ones in the 'Great Asian Cinema' slot that was running on Tuesdays a while ago weren't actually Korean.

I do remember The Host though. I liked it. Saw this other one that was a bit like Cast Away with Tom Hanks except the island was in the middle of a city and there was also a chick with a scar who was paranoid about everything outside her house. That one I found more funny and weird than inspiring or philosophising as it was trying to be.
