Worse. It's not as predictable.
Just read the other thread, seems only DOJ BL is affected, so I guess its probably better to do this first rather then Ketsui....

too late, the people that have donated have done so for a reason, to change now I have half their money would be deceitful to them.

amazing how all the people who are dictating what I should do are the ones that haven't helped out.

rtw suspects it's not necessary to dump a whole black label board, as it may be that the difference between normal and BL is just the program rom (which is easily dumpable and has already been dumped). The real trick is figuring out exactly how they're protecting the BL program rom and defeating it.

I seriously can´t believe how stubbornly law-abiding some people around here are when it comes to dumping arcade games. Especially when you´re not hurting anyone in the industry by doing so. There are laws that are there for a good reason (not punching people in the throat randomly or touching small children in inappropriate places for instance), but how dumping an arcade game most people in the world don´t even give a shit about can cause such an uproar in some peoples minds can only mean that those people really need some PROPER problems to deal with.

How come so many people are so uptight these days?

Because we all know that board dumping supports terrorism and communism, and people who like to kick kittens and puppies.

I don't think those comments were directed at you. It was brought up from a preservation argument/perspective. Its very clear what people's motivations are for wanting Ketsui to get dumped. I'm sure any work that goes into the emulation of this would directly benefit DDPDOJ BL anyway since its the same hardware.

I feel that some people get a false sense of moral obligation

righteousness

like they've fulfilled some need by pointing out an injustice that everyone is oblivious of

I respect that some people follow their convictions, but I also don't feel the need to taunt people with what I believe but I'll defend it if they're on the offensive

(there was no point to this post, tack it up as a blog like post)

Excellent response Roker, considering there was a lot of juciy flame bait in there. I would have loved to comment, but don't have time since I'm at work.

What about closing *this* topic, too, like the other ?
Now people don't have any reasons complaining about Ketsui dump anymore, do they ? This would end the whole discussion.
