Yet another
truly shocking development which, of course,
nobody in a million years could have
ever seen coming
a million fucking miles away or anything.

Some of my favorite tidbits, from a few different sources, though it's honestly hard to leave
anything out:
The four men are indicted for allegedly using hundreds of thousands of dollars donated to an online crowdfunding campaign called We Build the Wall for personal expenses, among other things. Bannon and another defendant, Brian Kolfage, promised donors that the campaign, which ultimately raised more than $25 million, was "a volunteer organization" and that "100% of the funds raised...will be used in the execution of our mission and purpose," according to the indictment unsealed Thursday.
But instead, according to prosecutors, Bannon, through a non-profit under his control, used more than $1 million from We Build the Wall to "secretly" pay Kolfage and cover hundreds of thousands of dollars in Bannon's personal expenses.
Kolfage, according to the charges, spent more than $350,000 of the donations on personal expenses, including cosmetic surgery, a luxury SUV, a golf cart, payments toward a boat, home renovations, jewelry, personal tax payments and credit card debt.
Accused fraudster and former White House strategist Steve Bannon was aboard a $28 million yacht owned by a Chinese billionaire when he was arrested on fraud charges Thursday morning, according to reports.
The 150-foot mega vessel was in the Long Island Sound near Westbrook, Connecticut, when President Trump’s former strategist was picked up by US Postal Service inspectors, the Hartford Courant reported.
The boat, the Lady May, is owned by Guo Wengui, one of China’s most wanted fugitives, who is wanted in Beijing on fraud, blackmail and bribery charges, according to the Washington Post.

Following the indictment, Trump said he hadn’t dealt with Bannon “for a very long period of time.”
“I don't like that project. I thought it was being done for showboating reasons,” Trump said. “It was something that I very much felt was inappropriate to be doing.”
Trump was made aware of the “We Build The Wall” campaign shortly after its launch. Former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who was an advisory board member for the nonprofit established by the campaign, told The New York Times in January 2019 that the effort had received the president’s blessing.
“I talked with the president, and the We Build The Wall Effort came up,” Kobach said. “The president said ‘the project has my blessing, and you can tell the media that.’ ”
A website for the campaign still includes endorsements from the president's son Donald Trump Jr., former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and Kimberly Guilfoyle, a top fundraising official for the 2020 campaign.
Donald Trump Jr. was a special guest last year at an event hosted by "We Build the Wall," the group that former Trump campaign CEO Steve Bannon was arrested over on Thursday.
In a 15-minute speech at the July 2019 event, "Symposium at the Wall: Cartels, Trafficking and Asylum," Trump Jr. praised the group as an example of "private enterprise at its finest."
"This is what capitalism is all about. This is private enterprise at its finest. Doing it better, faster, cheaper than anything else. What you guys are doing is amazing," Trump Jr. said at the time, per the El Paso Times.
White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said in a statement that Trump had previously disavowed the We Build the Wall project.
"President Trump has always felt the Wall must be a government project and that it is far too big and complex to be handled privately," she said
It's a
gloriously near-perfect distillation of the alt-right; self-interested criminal activity masquerading as patriotic free enterprise, taking utterly shameless advantage of the worst impulses of the most gullible, a pitifully thin "populist" patina stretched over a massive, furiously pulsating plutocratic core, and, of course, the
immediate throwing under the bus of both allies and
deeply, genuinely held beliefs and convictions the
second they become even mildly inconvenient.
I can't fucking
wait to hear how the
Deep State managed to orchestrate
this one.

Can't fucking
wait.
