Nah, that turned out to be false.

JP VC only, I bet. But who knows?

Wow, better than what i thought.
I have a feeling VC is dead in the name of selling 40$ compilations of three games.

I could say it's fucking SE, but that doesn't justify anything.

I am a little worried about the Switch...at the end of the month i will be through with Breath of the Wild and what´s next? My Switch will be covered with dust untill Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade II and the Shin Megami Tensei title arrives...

Pretty obvious that would be the case given the launch line up, not sure what you expected....

Nintendo said that so many companies are supporting the Switch but then why release only a handful of games?

Most people with severe OCD would be playing Disgaea 5 right now.

I tell you the plot of Disgaea: There are numbers. They must be made to go up. That's about it.

It's a franchise practically designed for portables.

They also said that about the Wii U…

Just play something else until the holiday season. It's not like we have a shortage of games to play in this day and age. :?

I look forward to so many games and then never play them.

So on the switch I decided to wait. Glad I did.

I just got to play the 3DS version and really disagree. The 30 FPS feels so bad for a fast paced platformer. The Switch version is 60 FPS if anyone is wondering.

The Switch also uses nearest scaling to a non-integer resolution which can look pretty bad at times. Still preferable to 30 FPS though.

It may be expensive, as Zell mentioned, but at least we know it will be a good port.

For most people it's fairly irrelevant unless a localization is announced. While there isn't a ton of text in those games, you do want to read it.

If a localization is announced that would be fantastic of course, while I've played Seiken Densetsu 3 via emulation, it's sad that people who don't want to deal with that haven't gotten to play one of the best games to come out of the SNES. I sort of doubt a localization is happening, but if there any time it could happen it would be to fill up a very meager game library of a console that just launched.

The Nintendo Switch Controller Pro has an estimated 40 hour operational running time before needing to be charged up again (of course, this powered up duration shortens as the internal Li-Ion battery ages the more it's used/charged).

If you insert a 128GB micro sdxc memory into a Switch, it'll say 118GB of memory is at your disposal. The Switch also reqiures an update just to utilize a new micro sdxc card ----latest official fw is at version 2.2.0

It's been said a Switch will support up to a maximum 2TB micro sd card (but those type of sized cards haven't been manufactured as of yet).

I don't feel 30 FPS is a game killer for action games and I feel the game still plays well despite this. I'll probably get the game if I get a Switch, but I'm not getting a Switch just to play Blaster Master Zero.

Right... to distracted working on the SNES mini.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Sales figures for the Switch are really good so far. I'm really tempted as I never got to play Mario Kart 8, so it's a whole new game to me. I just hate ponying up for Nintendo's first release hardware when they always supersede it with something superior a year later...

Same. Library-wise, I am thinking this thing will be a bit like the DS: slow start but pretty solid momentum once the larger titles hit.

I think this thing has to have sold more than the Wii U right now, right? Ha ha.

Switch and MK8 Deluxe rekting sales charts. http://www.vg247.com/2017/05/17/switch- ... nth-in-us/

Personally, I don't like most of the changes they made to it over the Wii U version, aside from the addition of the revamped battle mode. But I'm pretty sure nobody cares except me, and it's a silly kart racing game anyway, so I'm not going to rant. :p

Yet another elephant in the room seems to be - just how little a Nintendo employee dares to want a title not developed by Nintendo to sell any better than a Nintendo-developed game.

Thumper on the Switch runs at a solid silky-smooth arcade-spec 60fps framerate. Quite an awesome audio-visual gaming experience not to be missed.

The real question is: Will Bandai/Namco & Sega develop any arcade racing titles for the Switch?

And will there be another F-Zero title on the Switch as well?
