ESPG2 doesn't have an Ultra mode or a TLB.

Also ESPG2's final boss kind of sucks and doesn't really have any particularly stand out patterns.

Dunno, it just bores me.

Like, the second level has those sweetass jellyfish and shit

and the third level has crazy ass bugs and bullet cancelling

etc

the first level is just like easy and boring and I hate those stupid flying phoenixes and the floating islands are douchey and the boss is the lamest looking of them all

then again i usually play original so disregard this post i like cocks

Got 8/8/7/7 from Famitsu Weekly.

Just barely edging out their scores for Futari and DS.

Getting psyched!(since I thought both of those games rocked)

They were great for a few years but, just like HMV and Amiami, you're practically forced to use EMS if you want to see your item within the first 2 months.
I'm in the UK and my $5 off code covered postage. :D

That means you went with the slowest shipping option with Play-Asia? Better re-think that before you're comitted, or else you might be waiting awhile.

Agreed, it's not that bad. Anything up to a fortnight for me from PA.

Really looking forward to this now, even though the difficulty is going to kill me. Can't get passed the end of stage 4 of Futari yet on 1.5 original

I don't get people complaining about Play Asia's slowest shipping option...

PA is NOT responsible for the package after it is shipped, whoever is shipping it is, its NOT slow because of PA, in reality it is the people shipping it.

What difference does it make? Shipping and all the people in between the product and you are part of the equation..

My point is that PA has absolutely nothing to do with slow arrival as long as they ship it on time.

Espgaluda II Black Label Normal Edition is region free.
But I'm afraid new games after Espgaluda II Black Label won't be region free.
I assure you that Espgaluda II Black Label Normal Edition will be the last region free game for the time being.

Sigh.

Could you reply and ask him why, and point out that localisation is no good for Europe since nobody ever picks them up over here to publish? Or was this from the Cave blog or something?

That's kind of sad, but maybe they'll change their tune if Deathsmiles fail, like it almost certainly will.

I doubt they're really expecting that much out of Deathsmiles. "Failure" is relative.

I almost wonder if we have it all backwards. With the recent announcement of locking titles, and now the confirmation that this will be the last of them...maybe the original plan always was to keep it region free? Something good comes up with overseas publishing, or they want to focus on their new strategy of building up the international audience through localized versions. They then decide to lock it, but it's more difficult to do so with the SE than the LE for whatever reason. They keep waiting to see if it can be done, but it doesn't look likely and the release is coming up, so they finally decide to go public and confirm the SE is region free?

That's very sad indeed. The statement kind of makes me feel like Ray Liotta in Good Fellas, like I'm part of the "family," but in reality, not really that much so... But I must say, out of all the Cave games so far, I feel very lucky and thankful that I am going to get to play my top 3 pick which at the top of the list is is Espgaluda II, followed by Futari and third but not least Deathsmiles. Before Mr. Asada announced this, literally the day before my birthday (I found out on my birthday), I really was hours away from listing my 360 as I thought I would be better off buying the PCBs from now on. Perhaps this will eventually still come about if this is truly the last of the Cave region free games since I've come to realize, if it were not for Cave, I would not own any console and just play through the Jamma originals.
