Ahh, why the hell not, eh? A quick snap of my temp stg set-up, whilst I break myself back into the shooting groove. Been a few months, but RFJ seems to be the way back in... What a visceral buzz this game is, whoa yeah!

From the games I have tried, I noticed that iFBA performs better than the latest Seleuco version of MAME4iOS on games that they both support.

Edit: Updated my setup & took a better pic...

My STG setup currently,

HRAP 2 with full Seimitsu (LS-32-01 Stick & PS-14-GN / ps 14 d-n Buttons)

19” HP CRT with Trinitron tube

nike box ;)

Hooked up too to the Xbox 360 via Xtokki for CAVE joints and too a laptop running shmupmame, both through VGA. Looks beautiful on this display, just currently awaiting delivery on a mini SLG to complete the setup.

Mocking up screen and control placement and taking measurements for planned arcade cabinets. They will be wooden sit-downs loosely model on candy cabs.

It's some kind of Sony PVM / BVM, a pro monitor.

Why do they insist on releasing 5:4 aspect ratio screen, 4:3 please. Are they new stock?, didn't think anyone was making 4:3/5:4 screens anymore

I have black borders bottom and up.

should I change resolution or some option somewhere?

You got a widescreen monitor, so if you run a 4:3 tate game, borders top and bottom are normal. You can stretch the game if you like, but you're screwing with the controls then, as your ship will be faster up/down than left/right.
