I've ordered both the LE -and the normal game.

It great the game is going to be released shortly and its great that the original buyers are being rewarded for 'keeping the faith' and not getting too hung up with the delays.

I'm really looking forward to playing this game.

now..... whats next after DUX ??

Well if its made by this company I would hope they announce it about 2 months before release, not 1 year.

If i remember rightly, the game was going to be released back in July last year and originally only going to be a cutprice dreamcast game- it seems that the game kind of got more and more developed and polished.

I've got high hopes for Dux- the footage looks good that i've seen.

Personally, i'm not that bothered about the delays-its great that quality (hopefully) - games are still being made for the old dreamcast.

That's how I feel.

In regards to what's next, I see nothing wrong with an announcement, Rene just may want to avoid starting the pre-orders and determined release dates so soon. :)

And I concur as well.

Looking to vids release I think this will fully meet my expectations.
But let's first play and see.

Shame is it probably will be released during my holiday (1,5 week from now), when I am not home and can't play it at "launch".
I don't mind the few weeks extra, but don't want to be spoiled by others' opinions on it before playing it myself.
Guess it will mean a two day no forum visit when it's here when I come back.

Ha ha-they are masters of suspense :D
I got an email at 1.00pm saying release date was 12th, then an email at 2.00pm saying the release had been postponed til the 17th.
I can't wait to see what happens next week....
...oh well, there's no gratification like delayed gratification...

The emails are going to those that ordered directly from hucast.net.

The email states that the LE won't be ready on the 12th, so that both versions can be released together they are delaying the Standard edition until the 17th.

it would be unfair to those who orded the LE version of DUX for them to not get the game till after people who spent less money to get the regular edition of DUX do. I'm just glad this thing is finally being released.

We're always getting 1/2 the time closer to the release date.

UK t minus 4 days!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got an email saying DUX will ship to Europe (and LE) 17th June, USA 16th June and Germany 15th June so if there's anyone on this forum in Germany who ordered the regular game, we could be hearing about it by Wednesday.
Frankly, I am excited :D

Yeah, I'm glad it's finally getting released too. I'll reserve all judgments about it until I play it. Should be a cool collector's item no matter what though. :)

I kind of envy you guys your optimism.

I played a demo of this at Anime Boston last month and wasn't a fan. To me it just felt incredibly poorly made.

Looks amazing; very nice use of bright colors! :D What about the warning on Play Asia that

"This is a CD-ROM based product and might not be compatible with some Dreamcast™ consoles manufactured after October 2000."
