And this time Gunnail is not a boot! Also cool to finally see the beautiful animated backgrounds in Hacha Mecha Fighter and not a blob of pixelated colors in mame. (thanks Sven!)
Nice collection of NMK produced PCBs you've got there. ^_~
And do you have the NMK produced arcade shmups PCBs of Thunder Dragon 1 and/or Thunder Dragon 2 in your PCB stash?
Thunder Dragon 2 features cut scenes shown in between stages with a rip-off of the Aliens film of the Marines Corps' Dropship mecha or it can be regarded as a subtle tribute to it anyways. ^_~
I've had it for a while, but just un-reverse-TATE'ed my monitor so I'm now playing Midnight Resistance. Doubt here are any differences, but it's the J-version which is a bit more ellusive.

I have been thinking about getting that.... what did you do about the rotation joysticks.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Is it the original Japanese version or the all-English International version?
PC Engine Fan X! ^_~
Thanks. It's the japanese version as far as I can tell. Sadly I haven't had time to actually play it yet, hope to get some spare time this weekend and take it for a spin.
I think we have a heavy barrel cab floating around at work i could take a stick from. I might have to snag a MR sometime.... I enjoyed it in the arcade and megadrive during middle school.

Also got Scramble Spirits from Sega. Not the greatest game, but I'm looking to expand my System 24 collection.
Dogyuun and V-V arrived today, the others hopefully tomorrow before my wife comes back from Tokyo.
That's a bad situation to be in...better hope them PCBs arrive before the wife comes home or there'll be hell to pay. Just like that scene in Pulp Fiction where some guys are trying to get rid of a body when the wife comes home and happens on them folks in the process of doing so. It's like being caught with your pants down...lol. ^_~
Once you get bitten by the arcade PCB hobby bug, there's no known antidote to cure that ailment anyways. ^_~
That was on of the contest titles in the CAGDC Fall Tourney last year - played the hell out of it. The orig. cab had a button topped joystick (to pause ship rotation), just fyi.
You should definately get it up and running. Donald Hayes (classic arcade savant) absolutely killed it at the contest. In fact, Mark (Alpiger, the contest judge and producer) had to cap the playtime to an hour because Hayes was starting to marathon it!

How much did you pay for Solomon's Key? Isn't that considered a *rare* board?
Yes, I've been waiting a long time to get a Solomon's Key pcb. It's an original Tecmo pcb. Your website suggests that original pcbs aren't JAMMA, but it turns out that they are (I was worried about this). It cost 31,500 yen (42,000 before the discount). It's quite a lot if you convert it into euro, sterling etc. but in other Japanese shops it's 55000 (Gfront) or 59850 yen (Tops).
You have some nice games there, I have some of them or am looking for some over here.
Thanks, I'm really satisfied with my PCB collection as of now. A couple of games missing from the 80-90's (Fire Shark would be nice) and of course I need more CAVE games!
Thanks for pointing out the out of date info about the original Solomon's Key/JAMMA stuff. Actually, I believe that this game was released both as JAMMA and with the Tekhan-pinout. Don't know which is considered more rare. As it happens, I have an original board at home right now that I'm going to sell for a friend. That's why I'm curious about the price[/b]
