Any chance you'd be willing to sell 1 or 2 from the set?
Not at this time, but if that changes I'll let you know.

On a side note.... forgot about these little guys

Fresh from France, some fantastic Pix n Love books. Original Gameboy bible with neat lenticular front, Mario Goodies Collection, Gunpei Yokoi, Hiroshi Yamauchi and LE version of the PC-Engine Bible.

Highly recommend the Mario Goodies Collection book to any fans of Mario or Nintendo. Lots of very interesting products to view.

The LE PC-Engine Bible comes in gorgeous packaging

New DJ-mixer, Pioneer XDJ-AERO:

Built in, one-button recording to the USB-stick, use it as a controller with a computer running RekordBox or just as a CDJ with music off your memory stick or smartphone (over wifi). I have my turntables hooked up to it too, so I'm gonna break it in by doing some vinyl mixes for Mixcloud. ;)

I get excited about new books like they were television adventures on discs.

Image

1. 鴨川ホルモー -- 鹿男あをによし is one of my favorite J-novels and J-dramas. If you have J-d tolerance, you simply must give that one a try.
2. かわいそうだね? -- 蹴りたい背中 was funny and had character.
3. 獄門島 -- like a rock, #1 on the '85 and '12 versions of this list of Japanese mystery novels, so I'm definitely curious.
4. 火車/All She Was Worth -- #5 on that same list.
5. 孤島の鬼 -- read an Edogawa Ranpo collection a little while back. The detective tales were so-so, but the stories toward the end (like The Human Chair and Caterpillar) were something else. Looking at the cover fills me with hopes for more 1920s blend creepy material.

So jealous. I really need to upgrade my Hercules controller. Almost spending as much time coming up with creative ways of mapping as I am listening and recording.

Been eyeing things like the Behringer CMD Studio 4A and Numark Mixtrack Pro II, just to get dedicated FX controls

I got the Pioneer as it has phono inputs and built in recording + it's a completely stand alone unit if I wanna play a party using USB or whatever.

Today: 1L6B for EGRET II from Davide (eBay panel manufacturer extraordinaire in Italy - because US shipping/customs are a bitch):

Feels right, looks right. I gonna try to apply the overlay I got from Jasen a while back and see how it looks.

I bought myself a Hifiman HM-901 :) Looks like this:

Sound quality is fantastic, build quality less so - the one I have has a few bits which aren't as perfect as they could be. Two others had to be returned!

Now that I finally got around to getting that AV Famicom RGB mod done I've been working on games. Good lord... I hadn't realized how costly boxed Famicom games have become.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Not fully assembled yet. I'm gonna enlarge my desktop with it, so I can sit further from the 19'' CRT. Though I have some petty beef with Ikea, I keep buying their wares.

P.S. In other news, I heard (from a person who's just moved to Sweden) that Polish Ikea hot dogs taste better than Norwegian Ikea hot dogs.

Wicked awesome set. But yeah, the pain. :/ I'm glad I got my FC collecting done no later than I did.

Time for a new video card. As my GTS 250 conked out, I got a (rather modest) GTX 650 Ti.

Nothing too special if you're not a Golgo 13 fan, but Zippo stuff is always interesting. Now I'm just missing the one with the FBI target on it.

However, this shipment made me curious. This came along with it.

Is it a custom to send food along with purchases? If so, I'm sending packs of Ramen to everyone I sell to on Ebay. That'll freak 'em out. "5-star A++++ seller hooked me up with munchies". I guess the large pack is ramen, but I have no idea what's in the smaller package. Ideas?

Was it one of those Gideon compact bibles of the sort? Yeah, I recall getting one of those during my junior high school days back in the day. The guy that gave it to me was dressed quite nicely (in a three-piece business suit attire), I'd have to say. Still have it to this very day -- it's small enough to fit inside a pants pocket, indeed.

More times than nought, I've encountered those persistant Jehovah's Witness folks asking me if I want something to read, and they give me a Watch Tower brochure (or even a few) to leaf over while at work.

Chocolate-filled Koala cookies in that package. Quite tasty.

Funny about the bible - I just sent a manga bible to another forum member a few days ago. Mormons were passing them out in Akihabara a while back.
