At work I have a dell LCD monitor with a stand that supports rotating 90 degrees to either side. I am sure such stands exist for general usage as well.

For people who use LCD monitors for their Tate setup, how are people rotating their monitors -90° for Tate?
on many LCD sets you can remove the stand and put it on again rotated. After that the monitor rotates in the other direction. Doesn't work on all models though. If it doesn't you can build yourself a little adapter plate or get a replacement stand.

Namco PSX stick ( modded with a PS2 PCB ) linked to my 360 running FBA :

There is a "fake" scanline generator on FBA, really good :

I received yesterday an Espgaluda PCB, but i need some time to find the right setting on my GBS-8200.
I will upgrade very soon my arcade stick with an Ultra Ulia ( HRAP clone ).
The screen is a 5:4 LCD.

I am impressed as well. How were you able to fill the entire screen space without any black borders?

We are talking about FBA on Xbox 360, you can do what you want !
By the way this is a 5:4 screen at 1280x1024, so no need any black border because it's not a widescreen LCD.

Cave shmups run also with an original Xbox ( FBL or CoinOps ) but with slowdown from time to time.

I tried the orginal PCB with a GBS8200, i can also make it full screen but this upscaler is not that good.
I have to buy a better machine.

I don't mind if I have space above or below but I prefer not to have space on the sides. Do I get borders because I use a scaler rather than emulation? My PC Engine is the only system that fills the screen without any trouble.

Video scalers can't compare to emulation

you do get borders because the Saturn has 224 lines of video embedded in a 240p signal. Your scaler can't tell wether they're black or not. If you were using a scaler with overscan compensation, you could get rid of this, but it usually screws with the scanline overlay.

Very nice. Been looking out for those smaller B&O CRTs but just realized that no, there is no space in here :| Would definitively want to have one or two of those sexy things. Seen some for quite cheap too.

Thanks. They are very nice TVs, prices vary a bit, I got one of them for £130 (over priced..but lost a bid from someone who paid £165 for one lol) the other for £33

Do look out (some don't come with remote) and see if you could find out the firmware version as well V3 onwards you can adjust the geometry via a BEO4 remote, V1.0 - 1.1 you need to open the back of the TV to short some pins to calibrate..which i'm a bit careful of...

This thread convinced me to get another led 42" and tate it with a vga switch box between other plasma 42". Used a $20 target shelf and boxes, furniture to support it.
