Is there only the deluxe edition, or is there a cheaper standard one that ncsx doesn't have?

I'm in Spain and I ordered it at Amazon.uk, it has been shipped today via DHL. The strange thing is that it says that the estimated day of arrival November 15th, when other orders like this usually take only like 4 working days, I hope it arrives next week.

Living here in Spain, amazon.uk >>> zavvi . Zavvi ships via regular mail and they need more than 2 weeks to arrive, and I usually have to go to the post office to pick it up the following day because I'm never at home in working hours. While amazon uses DHL and it needs only a few days, and I get a text message in my cellphone when they try to deliver it so I can arrange another delivery or go myself to their office to pick it up the same day. In addition, zavvi ships each game in a separate package and it is very weak, sometimes the case gets cracked.

So I'm glad I ordered it at amazon.uk. I'm told amazon.es also delayed it, the Spanish version was to be distributed via namco bandai.

The Deluxe edition is the only version that exists.

Ah cool, thanks. Also, has anyone noticed (maybe earlier in the thread) that we're linked on RSG's site?

I was under the impression it was the white label arrange album that the 1.5 limited edition in japan had.

Ah ok, that would make sense. They never actually include a straight OST in LEs do they?

The arrange soundtrack is sodding terrible, tried to listen to it.

The guy who did it took the track "Element Daughter" and just sat there and plinked away at a piano for a few minutes. "Longhena Cantata" became a craptacular boring synthy grind.

Total waste of a disk.

The game itself though, bloody amazing.

I received my copy this morning. I've only had time for a few credits so far, but I'm enjoying it. Predictably, I forgot to play my first credit in score attack and ended up with my best score so far, which now isn't on the online leaderboards. Not that it was anywhere close to Spadgy

Someone at Rising Star Games put some real effort into the manual; it's 24 pages, full colour, and does a good job of explaining the system and giving hints and tips for the various modes. I'm listening to the arrange album at the moment, which isn't knocking my socks off. It sounds like someone accidentally included the OST from a Sonic the Hedgehog game.

I notice that the DLC is up already. Black Label for 800MSP, 1.51 for 80MSP. Are they worth buying?

Black Label is the main reason to own this port.

lol no.

But it is a pretty fun game and well worth getting / putting some time into. 1.51 on the other hand is a really silly game with pretty broken scoring. It's fun for a couple of tries but I wouldn't really pay extra for it. Though 80 points is hardly anything.

All the modes look good in their own ways.

Can't wait to try 1.5, BL, Arrange A, and Arrange B

On the subject of Arrange B, can we use replays to up the rank like with ESPGaluda II Arrange, or are we stuck building it up ourselves?

And I'm not really sure how the Arrange B scoring works from the vids I've seen.

Thanks for all the props guys, but it won't last! I'm sure soon the genuinely good players will come and show me up! I got a new personal best though (4,49x,xxx,xxx - which I still never know is in the billions or not on this forum as there's that difference between US and UK billions. It's four US billion anyway.) and now I'm after the 2-ALL (going the 'secret route' you trigger at the start of stage 1).

You can always have a look at the official 'basics' scoring guide available at the RSG website and written by me and adverse with help from Dan76 and JDE. You have to sign in or log in to download the guide. (A funny detail about that guide; Cave approved the first version we gave them with no changes at all other than font colour. Font colour!?!).
Moniker wrote:Also, has anyone noticed (maybe earlier in the thread) that we're linked on RSG's site?
Rising Star have been really great in recognising the input from – and taking feedback from – this place. They genuinely care about satisfying us lot (although, of course, they have to attract a far wider audience), and they do appreciate our comments.

Maybe they thought the words would be difficult to dodge if they didn't stand out from the background.
