I recall someone bringing in such an Astro City with a single player trackball control panel setup to play that same Sega Sonic game that Dave K. mentions about at a past California Extreme show. I tried it out and it's super fast and furious trackball rolling at it's best! Interesting and very rare arcade game indeed! ^_~

I've got the PCB and some trackballs, but have been too lazy to wire it up ;)

Doesn't it actually have 3 player support? When was the last time you saw a 3 player trackball game?!!

For Undamned,

Ol' procrastination is what happens when you have a certain arcade PCB and the properly hardware for it but in order to run properly, you have to physically do it. But if you keep putting it off, it'll never get done. I know very well what you mean. I've been there myself. ^_~

Wow, that's a crazy general idea of having three average-sized folks spinning those trackballs like mad with that Sega Sonic PCB and on an Astro City cabinet if it does support three players from the get-go. ^_~

That Sonic game looks pretty cool Dave K. Did you paint one of your Astro City's red?

Yep, I traded up for an MVS Matrimelee, which makes me one Street Fighter lighter. Sorry for removing the copyright Sven!

:) Thanks Alec. I cleaned and lube'd up both trackballs so they run smoothly now. Only thing I don't like at this point is you have to really spin these hard to get sonic to run at top speed....so I may end up making some new slotted wheels to change the spin ratio a bit.

It ain't easy being the fastest and the bluest. 8)

edit: oh and just to be on track... a Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo Blue CPS B board. No pics cause I'm at work. Its got a little of that good ol' arcade grime on the shell, but overall I'm very happy. I've been wanting this for many years now. Perfect in the mini cute too. Perfect.
