i was really looking forward to playing this, and this is what i got:

most 2d graphics just don't show up due to a really stupid console language setting incompatibility. :?
Oh, fantastic purchase. Might as well be the best racing game to ever exist. I'm not really into racing games in general, but F-Zero GX is something else. Sega/Amusement Vision really outdone themselves with this one. Funny thing is, it's the only racing game I care about, and it's one of my favorite games of all time.
Too bad about the incompatibility thing though. Once you actually get the game, start practicing some of the advanced techniques (like MT and all its variants, MTS, mine boost, MTRS and maybe shift boost) if you want to clear Story Mode on Very Hard.

That story mode kicks my ass.
I was lucky to find a copy of this game at con last year

The bomb-mission made me take a very, very long break. But after picking it up half a year later I beat it
Now I'm stuck on the mission after.....haha...
Chapter 7... yeah, it's probably the hardest mission in the game. Clearing this bastard on Very Hard has made me a better person. You have to memorize the entire track and you're not allowed to make a single mistake (like hitting a wall or something). The shift boost technique is a godsend during the narrow "wall-less" part, but it's risky times a million if you're not comfortable with this technique. And if Samurai Goroh is close to you during said part, he WILL spin attack you to oblivion if it connects.
As soon as the race starts, get a mine boost from one of the mines standing around the first corner. The second corner is entirely MTSable, so you might want to do that. Exit it by pressing the opposing analog direction and the accelerator button, while mashing side attacks to lose less speed than usual. Always MT when your car is diving. After that, it's a matter of MT-boosting wherever you feel most comfortable, so you need to get the hang of this particular technique. Then again, if you cleared "Save Jody" on VH, then you've probably mastered said technique.

Killing Black Shadow within the first 3 seconds after two perfectly-timed side attacks helps a lot too (he passes you out at the 0.6 seconds mark, always on the left. If you hit him successfully, he will attempt to pass you on the right, so hit him again and he dies)... Then Blood Falcon whenever you get the chance.
Other potential threats include Wild Goose (tends to spin attack a lot), Michael Chain (same as Goose), Sonic Phantom (likes to boost like crazy during the last laps) and Mighty Gazelle (see "Sonic Phantom"). Ideally, you'll want to kill Black Shadow, Blood Falcon and Sonic Phantom to make this mission much, much easier.
Every once in a while, Queen Meteor is close to the top 3, but she poses no threat at all.
The A.I. in general is very aggressive all the time on Chapter 7 (Very Hard, obviously) and occasionally their behavior is a bit random. And rubberbandy as well.

Got this for myself for Christmas, will write about it properly later on the blog but it was a long and sad story trying to find one of these, especially pre-Christmas.

Few stores will keep these fancy Samsung sound systems in stock because they're so heavy (g/w 10kg).
High buy price, high shipping cost, low margin.
Chances if you buy one online your order will actually be a back-to-back order... if not back-to-back-to-back...
Fits better in hi-fi retail stores but there aren't many left around.

Yeah it was a real trial considering they allegedly have stopped making them. Story/review:

Agreed.

I would get one but it seems too pervy.

If I also got Shinji and Rei, I think I could maybe pull it off ...

If you warm her up the clothes turn clear. Seriously. Unfortunately it's then difficult to get them to turn back to black so after a long spell in the fridge I simply only pick her up by the base.

This is what the girlfriend got me.
A wall mounted rack for all my hats. ( I already owned the hats)

Image

A stand for my razor and brush, and a new dish for mixing lather. ( I already owned the brush and razor.)

Image

Nice Seahawks hoodie. Its a little big so we are going to exchange for a smaller size.

Image

Katy Perry's new CD. So what if im almost 30 and think she is fucking amazing. Haters GTFO!!!! ( I own all her CD's and her movie)

Image

This cool ass book. I really like it!

Image

The next items are from my parents.
Super warm and heavy flannel pants. Best part is they are Seahawks colors!

Image

4 mags for my Glock, a pen stun gun (300,000 volts), and a SOG brand knife. (My dad likes to give weapons and dangerous items. Its always cool.)

I'm often quite surprised by prize figure quality. I've got like 4 Fujiko Mines around my house. I'm never out of her boobily gaze.

I know we've got some watch junkies here, so I thought I'd post this one. I got it in St. Thomas when I was there a couple of weeks ago. I've been wanting to get an automatic watch for a while now, and although I suspect this isn't nearly as fancy as it looks, it was still pretty reasonably priced for an automatic. I've got a Titanium Fossil with 660ft water resistance that serves as my daily-wear watch, but I wanted something a little bit dressier as well.

p.s. Awesome, I recently got a similar DE shaving kit and it's great. I think your brush is upside down btw, should be bristles face down so no water gets trapped in the handle.

If I recall correctly, I paid about $260 for this one. Haven't worn it much yet since I need to get the band adjusted, but it's intended more as an occasional wear watch when I need to dress up a bit.

Great timing, since I always play Secret of Mana around the holiday season.

Also picked up a K'Nex Pac-Man figure while doing some Xmas shopping:

Yeah I know it's upside down. The handle is to small and will fall threw the hole. I am buying a new silvertip brush soon.

Reminds me, have you tried using welding glass for long exposures? Cheap way of adding a bespoke filter to your camera and works great! I'd like to try it with HDR shots but haven't really done any of those before, is HDR tricky to do? Not sure if my D3100 is capable of doing it... :?

Determined not to ****** anymore, after a sustained use of the long raped logic 5.5 (and it doesnt work on my new laptop)

I tried this at BPz request

Very impressed!!! and this is cheap, suits me down to the ground.

Hopefully i dont get the "ASIO aids" issues i had with the free version.
