Is there any reason why pressing shot+lock+break during the first half of Time Attack resets the stage? or is it just me?

My favorite part of this patch is the saved high score name. I was just thinking how nice that would be not to have to type it in every time.

Bleh, the full screen fix doesn't really work for me. What it does is just sit the window at the same resolution in the top-middle of the screen and fill the rest of the screen with black instead of my desktop =P. What it should be doing is stretching the resolution to take up as much of the screen as possible, and then adding black bars for the remainder.

Loving this game :mrgreen:

I tried searching this thread but can someone tell me how Type Z is unlocked ? I understand it has something to do with stars.

Someone mentioned that you could hover over an image to determine how many stars you are missing, but I do not understand where this is supposed to be done.

You need 3 million stars (cumulative) and you can check the current amount you have on the Stats page. On the ship select screen for any mode, if you move the cursor to the bottom right square, it will show you the % unlocked for Type Z.

I'm not really impressed with this fullscreen "fix". I'm ok with black bars on the top and bottom to preserve an aspect ratio. I'm ok with black bars on the right and left to preserve an aspect ratio. But all four at the same time?

Guess I'll go back to tate and just sit really close to the screen. :/

Yeah, looks like it might be preserving the exact number of pixels rather than stretching to fill the screen, while only maintaining the aspect ratio :lol:
Maybe there's not an easy way to implement scaling without changing the code quite a bit? Definately an issue though, that's for sure.

That's....really weird, mine doesn't do that at all, maybe video card scaling settings? Looks like its placing it in a 4:3 ratio for some reason :/

Yeah, that looks like it's outputting in a 4:3 video mode (adding the horizontal letter-boxing), and then the game is letter-boxing to stay correct within that.

Oh yeah, that's actually kind of obvious, now that I think of it :lol: Try looking through your menu for options for changing it to 16:9.

Thank you nZero, and for those of you just starting up it won't display the Type Z before you have a certain number of stars.

Ok, so I want to start a 2p game, 1st player on keyboard and 2nd player on controller. It cannot be done. Arrow / ZXC keys are linked to both controllers so the keyboard controls both ships. Already posted on Steam forums and hoping for an answer.

Wow, is the key mapping THAT badly done in this game? Also, the description on Steam said the game has full controller support but as far as I tried it doesn't recognize any of the trigger buttons from my x360 controller...
