As much as I'm getting a laugh at of this, there's no part of me that wants to take some 'you sick fucks' stance. Seriously, let the world be strange and wonderful...and goddamn funny. No, they don't. A fringe element of the fandom, one that is present in every fandom, does that. It is not core to the fandom or what members of the fandom do.
