Okay, I'm 99% sure I'll show up at jonny's place some time during the afternoon.

It's cool that there'll be some games at AN and all but it wouldn't be worth it to go just for the games. I'm sure Death Smiles will be a hit, though. This reminds me that I haven't seen any good anime in a while but I'll save that discussion for another thread.

What!?!?!? I totally should have gone to that meet. Did he have any reserves left after the final boss, in any of the runs?

After an experience this weekend of one of the girls I shared a room with passing out..twice...then going to the hospital for seven hours because she FORGOT to eat or drink while in a heavy costume I really can't argue.
Thought the turn out for shmup meet at AN was good though, kinda ran between that and the guilty gear tournament to watch my brother get his ass handed to him.

yeah well shmups at codys + awesome mame cab = better than all of anime north

on a side note

Image

FINALLY cleared 60 mil...man that took some practice
At the end of stage 3 I had 4 extends and 53 or 54 mil. So I no missed the first 3 stages lol. Didn't get the secret extend because I can't figure out how to dodge the final pattern of the stage 3 mid-boss

I took the blue restrictor plate off of my seimitsu as recommended by Mao. NOW my stick finally feels more like codys sticks and removing that plate gave it just what I need to have the right amount of accuracy.

@Drakon: Oooooo, and it's the first run of the session. :o
Or maybe you just reset the scoreboard several times by resetting the game after failed runs, instead of suiciding.

yeah I reset it every game. It's actually quicker resetting my supergun than waiting to be killed 2 more times

you should not power cycle PCB's over and over like that....

and all my sticks have the restrictors on them....sticks just takes working in....some sticks are just stiffer at first, and vice versa....

and you realize the versus is all sanwa hardware, right?

the astro's are all seimitsu

glad fun was had at the anime event

Unfortunately, there were hardly any pics, sorry. :x
Also, the guy never showed up, thus there was no Galuda2.

It was still fun as hell though, I liked how intimidated 99% of all the spectators were when I played the Futari Ultra DVD.

Yeah... I've just wanted to play Galuda2 at least ONCE. It looks like a really amazing game based on the superplay DVD.

Oh, and at the next meet, I'll try to bring my 360 so you all can play some DS Mega Black Label.

Hm, what did you think of the X360 port of deathsmiles, btw. Considering Udderdude brought it, I didn't hear any kind of feedback from you about whether you hate it or like it.

Also, MBL's lv.999 is fucking insane.

chris is a woosy  ...shit ways 10lbs max....if you cant carry that on your back you probably cant walk either

Progear and Brave Blade, but with jonny5 around with his kick-ass setup @ his house, I highly discourage you go to Pacific Mall and get your ass down to his place this weekend.
