Haha, interesting to see how far MUGEN has spread. Cool to see a topic for it here, I must say.
I've been in the MUGEN Community since it started back in 2000 (give or take), by the moniker of "Kairi" mainly. Any questions about MUGEN, shoot 'em my way. How to code for characters, do fighting game spritework, make stages, all that. I'm here at your disposal.
Something I was working on, btw.
Unfinished due to lazyness/lost of interest. Original character concept that never saw fruitation.

I wouldnt call his characters "cheap", but then again, they arent viewed by most as normal characters (as they arent). Boss/Secret character status. Okay, I tried google first, and sure it had pointed me to some mugen sites. But, it seems like there is a version of it that is infected that it is up on main downloads, or I've already tainted my cpu.. We'll see.
I've also found a good instructional vid for mugen. I looked through the resources in this thread, and most of the links are dead.
Can someone please help me out, and send me a link for a reliable mugen source!

edit: okay, looks like I might try and dl a premade mugen set.. I hope this goes okay, I'm sure I may have some more questions, like how to delete BS chara's, getting new bad ass ones, etc. Still any help, including vid links would be helpfull! You can pm them to me. Plese, and Thank You!

Okay, never mind. I figured out what the hell I am doing, mostly.
Damn, this shit is dope! It's like a video game hobby kit! I can see myself spending some time on this over the next few months, putting together a fighting game made just for me. How awesome is that? Mega-dope I say, absolutely thermite!
Still, if anybody would like to chat about it here, or has some pointers, that would be cool. Otherwise, I'm going to go try and find a good forum for it.
