Couldn't decide. I love them all.

DP - the beginning, the Toaplan feel, scratchy mono sound, and a chaining system that's so laughably strict that I actually don't feel bad about disregarding it full stop.

DDP - the best old-school manic shooter, cool tunes, beautiful graphics.

DOJ - bleak, hostile and thoroughly without mercy, it's like visiting a dominatrix. I'd guess.

DFK 1.5 - I actually really like the chaining on this, and the whole thing is a refreshing change for the series.

DFKBL - Wasn't into this at first, but the visual rank really encourages aggressive play and I like the overall pace of it. Soundtrack sucks balls though.

A little humor never hurt anyone. Besides, when you boot up DOJBL you can choose Old Ver or New Ver. Old version is original DOJ, so it would be redundant to include it separately.

DOJ WL is harder, chaining is harder, second loop is harder, some patterns differ (ie. third boss, final pattern), hyper distribution and gauge growth is punishingly austere, and the overall score is wildly different.

So yeah, they're basically the exact same game.

Yes, there are some differences that I would call subtle compared to all other Black Labels, fundamentally the same game though (unlike DFK 1.5 vs DFK-BL)

Icarus brought up Galuda 2 Black Label which includes Galuda 2 arcade mode so I assumed he was making a comparison to the Blex port.

The point is, people wanted to vote for Daioujou White Label, and would rather play Daioujou White Label over Daioujou Black Label. It's part of the series.
