The interview didn't say anything about Mushi Matsuri 1.5. That sentence was only talking about Akai Katana Limited Edition. I don't see Mushi Matsuri 1.5 even having "Limited" in its title or being mentioned in the interview. I'm not saying a port will happen but...

Erm, no you're not. In relation to the LE Akai Katana PCB release:

Koizumi: Considering the background of its creation, I don't think there will ever be a conversion - even though we are aware of the requests made by users.

Kimura: Make sure to emphasize that part, with a "no way in hell!," like that (laughs). It really was a "limited version."

The Mushihimesama 1.5 PCB was also Limited Version - just because it doesn't have 'LE' in the title certainly doesn't make it otherwise.
The quote can be applied to all LE PCB releases, as in, don't hold your breath for a 360 port ever. Or to put it in the developers own words, "No way in hell."

Never say never, but I'd put good money on no-one seeing a 360 port of either next year.

Anyhow, a clarification on the translation: They were specifically talking about Akai Katana when they said "No way in hell" - but given their history of not releasing any LE PCBs thus far, or matsuri versions of anything to the consoles, I wouldn't hold my breath on the 1.5 version of mushi seing the light of day in any other form. And honestly, after playing it a few rounds I don't feel we're missing much. However - they are a corporation, and corporations are in the business of making money. If they see an opportunity to exploit the IP I have no doubt that they will - Cave aren't exactly know for their class (bottles of drinkable piss from the Deathsmiles girls? )

This is true, especially when applied to their reprinting tactics. Still, I'm quite confident the LE PCB's were made to clear out remaining SH3 stocks and will respectfully remain unported - for several years at least.

Thanks for the Japanese lesson, but I already made that clear here. In addition, I wrote: "KIND OF LIKE THIS" as in not exactly. I was showing an example of the various kinds of teas that Cave sell at their matsuri events, with the urine tea being one of the more.. err.. "unusual". They do sell many different kinds during various events. There's really no story behind the bottle above - aside from the fact that an 8 year old has her top off..
I know what that picture is, and I know what the kanji says. That was my bottle and I took the photo.

Personally ild be bummed out if we dont get another CAVE 360 vertical shmup next year (or ever). I was secretly hoping Mushi+1.5 or a similar Galuda 1 version would make its way to the west, since the sequels are region free.

Oh and I think renaming the mobile ports is a good idea, as it stops the 360 vids from been buried by iphone vids

Guwange Blue, Muchi Muchi Pork Matsuri Ver, and Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu 1.51 were all released on the X360.

They've confirmed that Feveron isn't coming to consoles, but would an XBLA Esprade be out of the picture?

As far as I know Atlus holds the copyright and is unwilling to give CAVE permission to rerelease Ra.De, since it's techincally their IP.
A pity, too - I would love to see what sort of Arrange mode they'd come up with.

And when did the rumor of a Feveron port start, anyways?

Wasn't Guwange technically Atlus' IP as well too? CAVE didn't have any copyright complications when they bring it over to XBLA.

For the Esprade XBLA port, though, I'd like to see the Espgaluda-ish Arrange mode because these two are related to each other.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who would like to see a ESPRade XBLA port, but it seems unlikely that it's going to happen now. ESPGaluda's "ESPRade" arrange mode was still heavily focused on the Galuda side of the scoring mechanic whilst including the ESPRade-style mechanic as well. If a port of ESPRade happened I'd like to see this in reverse, with the "bad" scoring stuff out (apparently you can do something with the B shot to milk bosses) and some kind of bullet slowdown mechanic that isn't directly Kakusei happening to rack up additional score. Or get Yagawa to come up with something weird based on keeping your bomb counter going, who knows.
