No, I always leave these guys alone. The only thing I would ask WTN would be to release his DonPachi replays, but I imagine he would decline. He doesn't have a real great reputation in terms of being a friendly guy.
Clover-TAC is a nice guy though.

So they make some of the superplays straight in arcades? I was naively thinking they were done in the privacy of the players' quiet home (if they can find space for a screen in there), and not in an actual arcade!
This particular arcade is not exactly noisy or packed with people. Very quiet, very small, but all business. They proudly display the current records that were set there (everything from Tetris to Deathsmiles) with trophies from various fighting game events on the walls.
The one time I saw a recording in action, they had a black curtain up covering the cab so no one could see. Considering there was absolutely no one else there it felt a bit excessive, but I guess there may be some legalities. I'm not sure if any of the actual Cave DVDs are shot there, but I think maybe some of the smaller publications do.
