Possibly silly and definitely off-topic, but does this malarkey about Asian region-locking mean it may be possible to get e.g. Ketsui or DFK in the Asian version, and play it on a PAL Xbox? I imagine not.

Shame that many of the questions could of been better, it seems like its not a proper Q&A article instead is more of a let Cave know we want X game rereleased or new developments on X console like the PS3

What is there to address as far as region locking goes? They put out 2 region-free games, and that's it. They're not doing any more. The issue is done.

Because nobody knows if Aksys is going to localize other titles, or whether PAL areas will ever see them. Region-free material gives people instant access to the game, regardless of their location.

And when Guwange is running good, maybe they're giving us MMP/Pink Sweets via xbla?

Ask them if they can do anything to make sure Deathsmiles has got intentional slowdown in the PAL release.

Ask Cave if they can help speed up the Ketsui MAME process because its taking ages.

If I remember correctly, Mamedev was contacted by Cave and explicitly told not to emulate the newer Cave stuff or Cave would sue. Also, mamedev has a policy that will not allow them to emulate arcade games that are within 3 years of the end of a game's manufacturing run.

So in short, you won't be seeing it in MAME for a long time.

Although I understand this... SURELY there must be somewhere on the internet a cracked version has been dumped. After all, if there weren't people who kinda laughed at regulations we wouldn't have any roms whatsoever.
