If this place were genuinely elitist, I don't see how I could have survived for so many years here. I mostly suck at games and don't know much about them, but I've only been called out a few times.

I think people here are argumentative, but mostly in the good sense that they like to engage in giving and taking reasons. Sometimes people are a bit abrupt about it, but we mostly know each other so it usually isn't taken the wrong way.
