so you get the big purple gold medal by joining the small medals collect that ,then let the small gold ones pop when there's a certain no of them on screen. then you just collect the medals after that trying not to let them drop at highest value??

was just wondering if thats it or if you can pop those as well ??

What a frustrating goddamn game. I've never been a fan of rank-based difficulty (punishing a player for scoring well is poor game design, duh) and that goes double for a game which seems to incorporate about three different scoring systems.

How do you go about setting your slaves to seek out enemies instead of hover right in front of the ship? I managed to get a medal leveled up to its highest (I think) point value on the second boss, and lost all my lives trying to catch the damn thing as it flitted just out of my reach with the stupid fixed slaves.

For those who want to save some time, here's the nvram that gets written, just put it in \nvram\ in your MAME directory. NOTE: Only guaranteed to work with mameplus_bin_x86-0.133u4r4361-20090830, but it really should work with any of the recent MAME builds since the last change

OK this isn't working for me which will ruin this week for me. I can't wait that long to play this everytime I load it up. I have latest mame plus update and use 64 bit Vista. Not sure whether you are supposed to extract the file so tried it both ways - each unsuccessful.
