It shouldn't be too difficult to find some type of sports where the amount of athlete/ player-environment interaction ratio is similar; with some sports, there is almost no variation in the conditions you have to react to. Besides, although games have a set program code and in that way "is the same every time you play it", games do react to the way players play the game - see rank, aimed bullets etc.
In sports your partner is human.
There are sports where you don't have a partner. But let's just drop this, ok? This discussion has worn out its welcome.

More evidence that the games will be localized.

If so, consider pants crapped, foot in mouth and 360 bought despite me saying I would probably never want one.

Man, this is the first time I realize how weird the relations between this guys head and body is. Either he has a shrunken head or a very deformed upper body.

According to the official site, it's a he!

Even if his name is Alice, notice the "男"...

Another mystery solved! :D

Maybe they should define "worldwide rankings". Senko no Ronde in JP had an option to change your location (flag) to any region you wanted, despite being region locked and Japanese only. There is absolutely no way G.rev would have known, back then, that Ubisoft were going to take it up internationally.

That's a shame. I always loved the front cover to Ketsui cus I thought it was some butch, blood splattered lezzer on the front, making it the most improbable shooting game promotional art ever.

Remember, the guy who did the art has a bit of a transvestite fetish

That's the badger. I remember mentioning him and his character Ash from Bare Knuckle 3 in an essay about gay and lesbian identity and representations in videogames. I'm not sure what my lecturer thought of that one...

OT - It would be interesting to see a localisation of these games, but I imagine the only way this would be feasible would be releasing them at a budget price, and/or releasing them as a multipack. It would be interesting if a company like 505 gamestreet for example could make a route like this commercially viable.

Ellen Degeneres?

I like her, so no offense.

I really like his style. It´s a bit edgier than the usual Joker Jun stuff.

This. I'd say that it's very likely that 'worldwide ranking' is simply another way of saying 'online ranking'.

The fact that the game was region-locked had nothing to do with the selection of flags.

Are you kidding? G.Rev stated shortly after the Japanese release that they had been in discussion with 3 different western distributors for some time. They simply hadn't chosen who they were going to sign the deal with.

Good news indeed. Now I know why Death Label has been released...it must have been a conspiratorial ninja move by Cave and 5pb themselves to make us unskilled westerners ready for their masterpiece! Can't you see?! They knew we would either buy or pirate it
Sorry but this is the only explanation my poor pirate's brain can accept at the moment...
Btw, definitely looking forward to European 360 - compatible Ketsui awesomeness :D

I never said it did. Read again.

Senko JP had an option to select flags of non-NTSC-J regions, although it was region locked. It might be the same case with these ports as well (or something similar).

Agreed. Hopefully this comes out before Mushihimesama Mitari is revealed in arcades.

We need a re-port of Ibara for the 360, with IBL included. Let 5pb tackle that one with Sega as publisher, leaving Cave free to work on the newer titles like DFK.

*moment of silence for Tomoharu Saito*
Kinect? KIN NOT.
