Yeah. If you want things changed over at MARP you need to make a discussion for proposed changes on the forums.

By default settings I meant difficulty and lives. C-Auto or any outside autofire is fine.

Well, point blanking with auto-fire does significantly more damage. Though as long as everyone is on the page, it doesn’t matter.

Progear received 31 votes, Battle Garegga received 28 votes, Raiden Fighters Jet received 12 votes, and Thunder Dragon II received 1(??) vote (it doesn't count).

Learning is hard, therefore I get to put in far less effort to get above the bottom 50%

so all the time I would have put off for garegga or RFJ would be going into this and this and I spend less than 4 hours getting a score in

I agree. The only Cave shooter I might rather be playing this week (in other words, out of the MAME-able ones obviously) is Esprade. And that's mostly because the music is way better (lol), because even though it took some time to grow on me, I think Progear is more fun.

Also I'm glad there was a hori in this tournament. I'm partial to vert myself still, but it's cool to have variety.

I'm pretty sure I'm not a Cave fanboy, and I think Progear is the best shooter they've ever done. Ok - maybe not the best technically, but it's my favourite by far...

I find playing it similar to the feeling you get as a kid when you stick your arms out as aeroplane wings and run about making machine gun noises and hassling people - and that's good enough for me!

I think I'm very much a Cave fanboy, and I would have much rather played Battle Garegga or RFJ over Progear. I should have tried to get team to strategic vote for BG... We could have made it win >_<

You were trying to prove how much you hate Progear by listing two other games you apparently have little fond feelings for. I didn't understand your example at first because I love Batsugun and Mars Matrix enough it seemed like an overkill example. Like saying "I would rather eat pizza than shit... Yessir."

What happened to the apathy? Even SDA voting Garegga wasn't enough to make it win this week. Ah well. Time to figure out how Progear works.

I loved seeing the TD2 vote, BTW. I'm still disappointed about that one losing.

For your information, I consider Mars Matrix Takumi's best game by a country mile over the three GWs and Night Raid (and would have enjoyed playing it, if not for the annoying one button control method and the difference in scoring between PCB and DC); and hey, I'm actually quite good at and fond of Batsugun, too. Your assumption is so far wide of the mark it is on another continent. But do continue to type rubbish, please.
