Maybe it isn't a realdoll and you just like them to look like your dolls. Maybe there is some makeup that gets that effect.

It's probably difficult for JoshF to never be able to get a real girlfriend, let's not hurt his feelings any more than the pictures of my girlfriend clearly already have.
I seriously can't wait until we become fellow otaku fetishists who treat obtaining the shiniest trophy asian (that is the one that walks and talks) as the tallest pillar of otakudom, and I mean that. Can't wait to show It off with my Suupa Faamicon collection and be crowned alpha otaku. It's going to be awkward though if It catches me looking for the "me so horny" ripcord on It's back.

Seriously though, yellow fever is one thing, no arguments there, but... Well, I guess it comes with the territory. If this was a wangster and not wapster forum we'd be treating black booty like baseball cards instead.

Maybe if you keep going with this tact a bit more, Skykid's girlfriend might leave her abusive relationship and run away with you, where you can apologise for the sins inherent in all white males and the negotiation of exoticism over and over.

It's screamingly obvious, isn't it.

When someone starts a campaign against a forum member based on firstly, their games collection and secondly, their girlfriend, it's pretty obvious how lonely you are. And unless as MX7 pointed out, you change your tact, you're going to remain that way.

You know absolutely nothing about me, and you shouldn't pretend to.

This thread sucks and it needs to be locked.

Also, honestly, I doubt anyone gives a shit about your collection. If everyone did what you're doing, Off-Topic would turn into an e-penis circlejerk. Seriously, no one cares.

No problem, sorry I caused you so much offense. I've removed the thread so you don't have to look at it any more.

Moody prick.

I have no mood towards this matter. If you get to brag about wallscrolls/anime figures/virgin territory, so does everyone else. I don't see the point in this, to be honest.

This kind of thing is why LiveJournal exists. Using this forum as a gateway for attention is just awkward to watch.

It's an off topic forum.

So what was the difference between Skykid's thread, this thread, this thread, and all the other "check out my stuff!" threads on this forum?
And why is it that people bitch about these threads now?
Envy is an evil thing (and I'm not talking about that red bastard in Batrider).

Funny, there's no difference between them. I never said there was any difference either. But those were threads for everyone to post in, not just the OP posting his stuff and wanting people to comment that he has the latest PVC figure direct from glorious nippon.

Currently I'm sick so I'm not going to explain why I don't want to see these threads in high detail. I don't want to see them. If you want to brag about how much you've wasted per month on anime figures then by all means, proceed, because if I was a true asshole I'd just refrain from commenting and let him dig himself deeper.

It's also funny that because I don't want to see these kinds of threads, it's "bitching". I'm literally going to throw up soon, and this helped.

'sfunny, people brag about that new Cave kit/hard-to-find PCB/rare sealed console game/random crap off YAJ they just bought too, but you don't (always) see people moaning about that.

Also, you don't want to see them, so you spoil it for other people who might? Classy.

What is awkward to watch is how certain people can so strongly object to a totally innocent OT topic when they purportedly don't care about it. Don't care? Don't comment! Simple.

The amount of self-important tools in here is staggering.

I could, but I won't. My point has already been made. I'm sorry if your Level 2 English isn't cutting it.

Yes and those people usually do them in the respective threads dedicated for those sorts of things. I never told him to remove his collection, and whoa watch out if I have an opinion on the matter. He's obviously insecure about it which lead to them being deleted pretty much as soon as I posted a comment in this thread.

Maybe a girlfriend collection would be more appropriate.

Edit: Maybe we should just all hold hands and jack off to Image instead.

Skykid is but one of a number of people who occasionally don't, yet you don't direct your vitriol at others. Interesting.
Also, who put you in charge? Last time I checked this is a public forum and people could post whatever they felt like as long as it was within rules. :p

You don't have to say it in direct comment for people to get that kind of impression. But then again, some people were climbing all over him already, so what's one more for the pile?

Icarus!

I'm kind of amazed you turned up just to lend some support, but grateful. I hope you're well dude, you've got to make it to the next shmupmeet.

Elixir is a asshole. With comments about foreign forum members English levels, he's really doing himself a disservice. I'm glad you're sick, you deserve it.

Everyone else, thanks for all the kind words. Icarus is right, it's easy to dent my confidence if people keep going on: from where I sit, it does appear to be a lot more heat than is necessary over something so small. The vote might be firmly in favour of the thread, but that didn't stop the continuous incoming jibes.

That said, I hold the words of the wise more favourably than those of the damned - and as such, I'm going to resurrect the thread, with an update, and stick two fingers up at people like Elixir.
Go find a different forum bud, one that's picture free.

LOL...some people wanted you to remove your collection and you made 2 threads like if your mother died...

The wrong thing you did was to not post your collection in the dedicated thread...nobody cares of a thread only for 1 collection (and moreover to see 95% of really common games that everybody seen 100x on the net...)

Now, opening a poll just to convince you you have friends (or life) here is just pathetic... :?

Isn't this a double post (i.e. you posted the same one in my collection thread?)

No one likes you anyway Ken, keep it to yourself eh?
