Includes shots of Faintear (she has a dual piercing laser shot.. kinda like Ageha in ESPGaluda), the new CG story sequences and the animated intro.
I don't know how much value I would really put into the CG story sequences, but at least they are trying. Adding a new character however is of some value.

This game is going to be AMAZING.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

With all of those efforts on the mech-less designs of Exelica, Crueltear, Faintear, and some light-blue-haired girl whose name I don't know, I'm starting to find it hard to believe that these girls are really humanoid robots.

Hell, even with the mech stuff on them, they seem more human-like in the CG.

Shaky-cam footage of the 5-minute promo video.
Shows the animated intro and some gameplay with Faintear.

and it is an awesome game!!

plus with the PS2 version i can throw it on the hardrive and shelf the disc...

the only thing that annoys me with the DC version is i have a US DC so i have to use a bootdisc to load it
what year is your DC from? I have 2 both from 2000 and they can play the japanese DC games without anything other than the system itself.

This game is about 2 or 3 years too late for the PS2.

They both have lolis so it's hard to tell.

Uh, what the hell is "enhanced" about this version again? It probably won't even support 480p, like the DC natively does and the 360 has.

Well, there has to be some sort of demand for this version or why would they even think of making it.

I found this game average at best. Still considering the PS2 Ltd. Edition for collection, but the price is steep. :(

You think they would add some new levels or improve the artwork or something. Not worth it. :?

I think question is not only about demand but about price. If price would be around 15-20 euros, I would consider buying one. But if price is 50 euros or more I would either buy XBLA version or continue enjoying my already own DC one.

>50 euro price is either for collectors or those who do not own Xbox360 or DC and must have triggerheart exelica. Hell, for 80$ you can actually buy DC and Triggerheart...

Well Japanese games are generally more expensive. Look at Raiden Collection, Raiden IV, etc. priced at 6800Y each. You could not market those games for such price in the States or Europe.

Yet again, Trigger Heart costs more (even as standard edition). IMO not quite justifiable, even in Japan. Who knows, maybe they will even can the PS2 port after all due to lack in demand.

Small release, from a little company, on an old console. It's expensive, but we knew it was going to be.

Sounds like it could be quite a collectors piece in the future? Although I don't think that $130 pricetag for the limited edition will skyrocket in any near future, it's just do darn expensive to start with.
This said, I hate the thought of buying games as investments. I'm just speculating since I don't see any real reason for a non-collector to buy this.

EDIT: Okay after watching this http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=748ChKA_MaY I said fuck it, I'm going to shell out the cash for it. However because the price is such rape... Seriously, fuck 160+ shipping for a ps2 game. That's more than the F&*%^*^^ PS2!

My topic from the now closed thread. (sorry didn't see one already made)

I'd still like some answers if anyone knows, WTF is this shit costing so much, why does it keep getting delayed? I mean how hard is it to port a how many year old port? And any other info on it.
It was suppost to come out December 25th 2008 and of course it didn't.

I cancelled my pre-order and bam big mistake.

It's now costing 159.00 http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-a12 ... -2x7r.html

and even the normal version is 89.00 http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-a12 ... -2x7q.html

Seriously WTF?! I remember when the original pre-order was at 99.00 for the LE version.

Some one fill me in, why does this game keep getting pushed back and the priced raised?

Are they making an entirely different game or something? I've played the DC version and thought the 99.00 price was steep.
BTW those are affiliate links. rules say I have to point them out. You should sign up for some if you use play-asia xD

EDIT: Fixed the rule breaking stuff.

Here you go. Nice affiliate links by the way, I guess you don't mind us paying $160 as long as some of it drifts towards you :)

I vote for changing the forum rules to explicitly disallow posting affiliate links.

It's a habit to link things through the PAA links because the program is such a good program. I didn't come in here like "BUY THIS BUY THIS ITS SUCH A GOOD OFFER". In fact, rather the opposite, the links were only for refrence to show what I was talking about. You don't have to make it seem like my only purpose was to come here and spam links.

I also won't mind them unless someone's really flooding the forum with them.

Since I'm one of the people that preordered early when it was 129.99, am I going to be charged the new price or the old one once it comes out?

IF you already paid for it at that price, there's nothing to worry about. If you didn't pay and simply ordered, i might worry.

Yeah, that. Since I chose Credit Card as my method of payment.

Linking affiliation links discretely and claiming it's just a link of reference is a great way of having people click it regardless.

Nobody cares that you're buying this overpriced pile of shit, just so you know.
