Nice to see some more players. HE however is kind of over the top, because of the three TLBs. The regular version is much better imo.

I just found out how to use the REPLAY and SAVE STATE option by reading the attached QandA file!

Replay
When the GAME OVER appears you have to press "R" on the keyboard. The replay-menu will come up and you can choose a place to save it (digits 0-9).

Save State
When entering a new stage (after the statistics disappear), press "S". The game will indicate "SAVE OK" in the bottom left of the screen, when you return to the main menu, the "LOAD"-option will be added and you can choose the save state. The game takes up exactly where you saved, with matching score & scratch data.

The rest of the QandA is also quite interesting to read, at least what I can understand. He basically says it looks that shitty because he "I had no motivation" (=yaruki nai, the game is called yaruki na shuu, a play of words with Yarukinai shoot, "no motivation shooter"), there are no different ships because "I had no motivation" and it goes on like that with a list of things the game doesn't have. He also introduces strategies for each boss, but I haven't bothered translating that yet.

Plasmo, you as a Japanese expert and one of three Yalkina fans in this forum should publish a proper translation of the entire document! What do you think?

I thought that replay function was common knowledge?
It doesn't always work btw and is sometimes glitched up. I recorded my best run, but wasn't successful, it's quite frustrating.

I should really do that translation I guess...

Aaargh... I'll take a look on my hard drive when I'm home tonight! I do have the regular version saved for sure, maybe I was smart enough to archive HE as well.

Whoa, they had some other games too. Unfortunately, I could only get the other one at the bottom... doesn't seem to work on newer PCs, though. The larger one at the top appears to be the developer's main work, but it's totally gone.
