Update; CNN quote;

The device, consisting of 200 liters of fuel, gas cylinders and nails linked to a triggering mechanism, was found in a car in Haymarket, in the city's busy nightclub and theater district shortly before 2 a.m. (0100 GMT) on Friday.

Yes Sven, it would have been BIG!
Latest:-
The car was a Mercedes, which points to another ethnic group .
The latest is that the fumes that were spotted coming out of the car were not smoke but actual petrol/gas fumes, from the 60 litres, which I guess must have been coming from open canisters, ready for explosion.
The car is reported to have been driven erratically and crashed into a bin and the driver ran off. The fumes from the petrol/gas would have affected the driver like sniffing glue , so that explains the erratic driving and bin bumping.
EDIT:- But if you take the overwhelming petrol fumes into account and that the driver had to flee or fall unconscious, then the real target was No.10 Downing Street, which of course is straight down the road from the Haymarket.
Would have been a HUGE explosion, with nails.

geez :/
About the meet, I just confirmed all my reservations and I'll indeed be in London from the 9th to the 14th with 2 or 3 friends.
I have no idea however if I'll be able to play at all on those cabs because I played with a keyboard until now, and I just purchased a stick (virtua stick high grade) and can't do a thing with it lol~ But well, doesn't matter much as it's not supposed to be a competition meet ^^

Alright, so it was two car bombs. One outside the Trocadero arcade and another nearby. Pure luck that the mobile triggers failed.
I'm being realistic and treating the incidents like the bombs actually went off, like they were supposed to.
The police are seeking 3 men from Birmingham.

Are those cabs fully working now? Back in february they were quite horrible!DEL wrote: The London fighter players are always running in and out of the Trocadero arcade because it has VS City cabs
Yeah I think it's the right way of thinking too...I'm being realistic and treating the incidents like the bombs actually went off, like they were supposed to.

No no! In this country it points to another 2 groups, definitely not the car manufacturers (Germany).I hate you stigmatizing German people there....
The majority of people who buy Mercedes in the UK are not German
Don't worry, I certainly wasn't trying to pass any stigma on German people ...at all!

In that episode, Horst (threatingly) said, not wrote:We Germans aren't all smiles und sunshine.

Code: Select all
I'll be going down Goodge St tomorrow night to get this rolling. Apparently Ketsui is working again and Mush should be installed. No joy on other boards like Futari Pink Sweets or Pork, but maybe Mulletgeezer will come through like a Trooper.

I spoke with Bob on Friday, expressing my concerns over the removal of the Mush cab. The Mush board is still safely in the arcade back room and I've asked Bob to shove it back in for the Meet. So things will be ok for LUN.
Bob just might put a new vert cab in the arcade...maybe.
He was also receptive to a new shooter being bought for the arcade. I'll try to steer him in the right direction.
