Comin' in with a low score, feels weird to put up a score under a million.. I'd try for better, but I got a new shmup in the mail. So, I'll come back later.

I kinda liked this game even though it was a little tricky in one or two stages.

This is really not the most exciting game ever, but I really dig the graphics and music, soooo...

Does this game have an extend? When I hit 1 mil I wasn't paying attention to the game and I thought I died, but I did not have a game over so I wasn't sure if it was an extend or I didn't die. A somewhat retarded scenario, I realize. I could probably just give it another play to see what happens but I'm not really feeling sitting through the first two and a half stages to get to the fun stuff.

Just thought I'd revisit the game due to a competition happening at another forum.

Haven't played in a while, but pretty sure there are no extends.

This game has 1 extend and it's from completely destroying the Stage 5 midboss (the giant pink ship that shoots the craploads of lasers) before it escapes.

Scores have been updated. I apologize for the long wait once again. I was without internet for a while and I have not been on this forum for a minute. I am still surprised people still play this game. Kind of wish I made a replay of my play because due to my complete lack of consistency I will most likely never be able to get that high of a score again. Good gaming everybody, hope you enjoyed playing this odd little game.

Not much of a score, but here we go:

694,160 - Ed Oscuro - Stage 4 - Type B (1P) - Shmupmame v2

Maybe an hour into it so far, so I can probably do better :o

Got the No Miss No Bomb. Had most problems on Stage 5 when those large things take over the screen (so I just left the bottom two), end boss first pattern, and the stage 2 boss too.

Died in the last boss fight and lost the bonus from all bombs. Played like shit afterwards and ended with only 1 bomb in stock...
I let some of the laser turrets during the last stage go by.
And I still don't know why sometimes the second boss yields 30k more than usual. It didn't happen on this run. :(

oh, hello there. i actually sent ayanami a pm for this a few weeks ago. of course, no reply... may as well. taking over all these threads like this makes me feel bad too.

yes, i'm going to have to split by character. judging from what i read, it's a lot more "helpful" for this game considering 2P and type C bullshit.
